Great Discussion of Stories
This is an always interesting conversation about stories and the people who tell them. Paul and Dave are nice, knowledgeable hosts who can really articulate why they enjoy the things that they do.
The Best Storytelling Discussion Around
If you're a fan of good storytelling in any medium, listen to Fuzzy Typewriter. The hosts Paul and David spend each episode discussing a specific work of fiction as well as related works within the same genre. So far, they have discussed movies, comics/graphic novels, and books.
They also have episodes dedicated to the creative process, having covered collaboration and comedy to date. These episodes are particularly enlightening if you have any interest at all in making art.
It is clear that these hosts understand the content of the stories they discuss as well as the craft behind them. That degree of familiarity makes the podcast a joy to listen to. Critique and opinion is one thing; creative respect is another. This podcast has both, and it is delivered in style and good humor.
Highly recommended.
