Podcast Description
Each week (for three years running) GWC's geek hosts jump into new material, becoming fans and passing on the experience with the help of what's widely recognized as the friendliest community in science fiction and fantasy. Rolling Stone magazine called GWC "the NPR of BSG," and Howard Stern agreed, describing GWC (and geeking in general) as a "guilty pleasure." Past topics include The Guild, Alien, Eureka, Eve Online, Star Trek, Terminator, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible, Tron, War Games, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Cosmos, Avatar, Batman, Transformers, X-Men, Iron Man, Mass Effect, SyFy and sci-fi programs, individuals such as Will Smith, Felicia Day, Joss Whedon, and many more!

Customer Reviews
It's like they're in my head!
They have the kind of "post game" chat after a show that I wish I knew enough sci-fi geeks to have, myself. They often bring up the very issues or thoughts I have, and it's just as fun when I'm shaking my head and telling them out loud they're all wet about something. The format is a great conversational style, and the depth is just right; they're not talking about some fluff-head show like CSI or Lost, after all!
Great Podcast
This podcast is incredible. It typically comes out shortly after the episode is aired. I listen to it at work and often have to make myself stop laughing because these guys are really clever and funny. If you love Galactica, then you would would be sinning in the eyes of the Cylon God to not listen to this. They know what they're talking about and constantly talk about questions I often have along with the possible answers and consequences.
The best of Battlestar Galactica fan podcasts I've listened to . . .
. . .and trust me, I've tried several. Don't get me wrong, there are some other good BSG fan podcasts out there, but Watercooler stands out. Chuck, Audra and Sean have a great post show wrap-up that asks (and attempts to answer) the questions most of us are left with at the end of each episode. And they're not just knowledgeable about BSG. They bring in a wealth of SciFi references that make veteran SciFi Chicks like myself go all fangirl, but they do so in such a way that those unfamiliar with the references catch on quickly. The trio round out their podcasts with voicemails and emails from their listeners - a dedicated and creative group, indeed! Prepare to be informed, laugh out loud and enjoy a frakkin' good podcast with this crew!
