Infomercials R Us
This podcast has jumped the shark. What was once a useful and informative podcast has turned into a 5 minute infomercial from whoever the producer is getting some coin from. What used to be a somewhat credible and helpful podcast has lost its credibility and usefulness. Their sponsors Drobo, Nokia, etc. get all of the air time, and the rest is used to give us recipes for grilled cheese sandwiches ?!? In the last podcast I watched, we got to see Luria stair at her multi-thousand dollar coffee machine while it spewed out a cup of coffee. Let me guess, the coffee machine company is a sponsor. Waste of bandwidth and a waste of time.
Too Commercial...
Sadly I have to agree with the previous comment regarding the excessive commercialism of GeekBrief... I like Cali and the show a lot, but I'm sick to death of hearing about Drobo, Nokia, the HP Media Server, and the other show's sponsors' products. I really hope they read these comments and move back to more impartial and less ad-centric content.
The Best
From the beginning Cali Lewis has made me smile and I love hearing her talk about the latest in new tech toys. Cali is the greatest thing to happen to video podcasting and tech news in the history of podcasting. Not only do I find out about the latest happening in the world of tech but she never fails to bring a smile to my face from the start to the end of the show. Watch out world , Cali Lewis is on her way to the big time
