The Girls in the Cheap Seats Episode 63 | Amanda, Kirsten and Shana return to discuss the women's and men's College Cup finals and the end of the NCAA season. Since Amanda is a Duke fan, you can probably guess how discussion of UNC winning a trophy went. But at least before that, they get to discuss Duke and Stanford and a much more satisfying women's College Cup. After that, it's a look at the plethora of MLS off-season drafts and more speculation about the future of WPS, where no news at least isn't bad news. | 12/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 61 | This week Kirsten, Rachna and Shana discuss the MLS playoffs and the final match-up between Houston and LA, without disparaging a certain team based in our nation's capitol. The girls also discuss the upcoming U-20/23 camp in Germany and awesomely-named new players that were called up. Some psychic powers are mentioned with regard to the USWNT friendly in Phoenix, and the girls let out all their rage over the USMNT friendly roster. | 11/10/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Episode 60 | Shana, Kirsten, and Amanda start this week's show with a preview of the MLS wild card and playoff games, and some Houston v. Philly trash talk for good measure. Amanda has a funny feeling about Seattle, and once again, you may not want to listen if you support DC or NY. Sorry! In the second segment, they discuss World Cup rights moving to Fox from 2015 on, what that could mean for the WNT and youth national teams, and shudder at the prospect of Eric Wynalda trying to plug The X-Factor. Finally, there's some more WNT discussion and a little bit of questioning Baby Horse's nomination for the Ballon d'Or. With love, of course. | 10/26/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 59 | Amanda, Rachna, and Kirsten return to review the final weeks of the MLS regular season and speculate about the playoffs and the MVP race. Fans of DC United and/or DeRo and/or New York may want to fast forward to our second segment, where Amanda talks with Beau Dure of Sports Myriad about David Downs' comments on WPS, Hope Solo, and the state of women's soccer. Finally, the girls discuss some youth national team rumors, swoon over Caleb Porter, and debut the show's awesome new theme music. | 10/20/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 58 | Kirsten, Amanda and Megan discuss Seattle's supreme dominance of the US Open Cup after the Sounders' third straight title in the competition. They talk about the merits of the Open Cup, compared to the league itself, compared to the playoffs. The MLS playoff chase is heating up, as several teams from the East vie for their places. The talk turns toward the upcoming USMNT friendlies, and Megan isn't quite sure about the competition that team has faced recently -- though that's probably not Klinsmann's fault. By the way, where's Omar Gonzalez? We mourn Stuart Holden, out for up to six more months after cartilage damage was found in his knee. Oh, and Tim Howard finally beat Dirk Kuyt. | 10/6/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 57 | Kirsten, Shana, and Megan feature in this episode, as we report on the USWNT's match against Canada, which, of course, evolves into a conversation about Hope Solo's wardrobe on Dancing with the Stars. We probably analyze what Hope's presence on the show could mean for the USWNT a little too much, but in the end we agree it's all in good fun. In other news: there was much rejoicing about Stuart Holden's return to Bolton in a League Cup match, as he went 90 minutes after missing first team action for six months with his injury. Oh, and how many times does Tim Chandler need to commit himself to the USMNT before people believe him? Finally, we believe Bob Bradley may be the coach of the Egyptian National Team, but um, we're not sure? | 9/23/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 56 | Amanda and Kirsten review a dramatic week in MLS (seriously, we still can't believe that Philly/New England game) and take a look at the emerging playoff picture. Then they preview the next round of CONCACAF Champions League group play, try to figure out how to pronounce some of the other teams' names (Alajuelense? Oh my.), and talk about Amanda's crush on Costa Rica. Finally, they wrap up the show with a quick look at Americans overseas and Bob Bradley's career situation. | 9/13/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 54 | Amanda, Shana, and Rachna start this week's show with a look at the MNT roster for the upcoming Costa Rica and Belgium friendlies. They are relieved to find Fabian Johnson on the list instead of Eddie Johnson, and welcome the return of Jose Francisco Torres, Jozy Altidore, and the Huntington Beach Bromance that is Robbie Rogers and Sacha Kljestan. After that, they review the WPS final, with penalty kicks, squirrels going nuts (no pun intended), and a lot of A-Rod missed shots. Then it's a rundown of the MLS weekend, including crazy scorelines, Irene-related cancellations, and a surprising playoff picture. A bit of college soccer and a laugh or two at Arsenal close out the show. | 8/30/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 53 | In this episode, Megan, Shana, and Amanda are joined by Joan from Cross-Conference as they preview the upcoming WPS final between the Philadelphia Independence and the Western New York Flash. They then switch gears to talk about Robbie Keane's first goal, and various MLS action throughout the week. The four of them now live in an alternate dimension where the Colorado Rapids do not exist, and neither Fulham nor Everton played a match over the weekend. The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 52 | Kirsten, Amanda, and Megan reflect on a rather positive beginning to Juergen Klinsmann's USMNT career, despite their skepticism that he would live up to expectations. They also discuss the now-unemployed-but-probably-not-for-long Bob Bradley and his recent jaunt into Egypt, and speculate about the former boss's future. With the MLS transfer window winding down, several teams have made big moves in the transfer market, including for Robbie Keane, who is making a life-long dream come true by joining the Galaxy. Finally, the WPS playoffs are set. Who are the girls going for in the final in Rochester in two weeks? | 8/16/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 51 | Amanda and Kirsten return, kicking things off this week with an analysis of Jurgen Klinsmann's first roster for the USMNT, the Timmy Chandler situation (which is their new band name), and some surprising additions and omissions. After that, they review a dramatic week in MLS, with DC/Toronto, KC/Seattle, and Vancouver/Chicago all offering various levels of wackitude. Finally, speaking of wackitude, they close out the show with a look at WPS's playoff situation and everyone's favorite owner, Dan Borislow. | 8/9/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

They discuss the winners and losers with the coaching change and pour one out for Jonathan Bornstein's national team career, after getting excited for the possibilities for Stuart Holden and Baby Robot. After that, it's a look at the WPS playoff picture and a teeny little mention of MLS. Did we mention we're Houston fans? | 8/2/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

They are sure that Abby Wambach's going to get a goal at some point. They preview Wednesday's game against Sweden, a game in which the pressure, for the most part, is off, but that doesn't mean they won't be tested. They then reel from the U-17's exit from their World Cup, and wonder what direction US Soccer is now taking. Also: Torsten Frings to MLS? Landon Donovan as USMNT captain? And more! | 7/6/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Girls in the Cheap Seats - Episode 46 | Amanda, Shana, and Megan start off this episode with their mourning/analysis of the Gold Cup Final, deciding to get the pain over with quickly. They go on to happier topics, including MLS Goalkeeper of the Week/Year/Decade Mike Magee (but we're still not sure if he tops Eddie Gaven), and their continuing excitement for the Women's World Cup. They air frustration toward US Soccer and Nike Soccer for their treatment of the US women's team as a completely separate entity -- Indivisible, indeed. All this, plus U-17 World Cup talk, and more! | 6/28/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

It's a great podcast in which the women run the show and provide a different and valuable view point of the beautiful game.
Their coverage of the Women's World Cup was superb. It's a great show, not to mention the cross over that the hosts have with the other CSRN shows Winning Ugly, etc. Great work! Give it a listen.
