The Last of the Great Muckrakers
Greg Palast is a fantastic reporter--and heroic, too. Speaking truth to power is not the safest or easiest thing to do these days--and Palast does it fearlessly. He's also pretty dang funny. Get to know his work and learn the truth about what your government is doing.
Palast is the finest journalist of our generation...
Greg Palast is a journalist in the purest sense. He doesn't care about ideology- it's about who's abusing power at the time. So if "your guy" is in power, watch out. Palast had to hop the pond to find any media outlet willing to speak truth to power; hopefully our American media will improve a bit and he can find his way back to our shore.
Please Listen to This!
This man's work is incredibly important - especially in today's political climate where most of the media has been cowed by commercial and right-wing interests (in the US at least). Both extremely well-researched and funny (if he weren't funny, the content would most likely leave you crying).
