In this podcast, host Joe Lamp'l has a conversation with OMRI's (Organic Materials Review Institute) CEO, Peggy Miars, who walks us through the role that OMRI plays when it comes to organic labeling, and why it matters to household consumers. [audio:http://traffic.libsyn.com/joelampl/GGW036.mp3] Click the Arrow to Listen Now As an avid reader of gardening magazines, there's one author I've been following for a number of years. And it's hard not too since he's in just about every magazine I read. I'm referring to author, professor, and horticulturist Lee Reich, Ph.D. He's all about the art and science of building the garden from the ground up, with an emphasis on organic gardening, compost and healthy soil. He's my kind of guy and I thought it was time we got together for a podcast conversation about some of those very issues, along with one that has me most intrigued. Lee wrote a book about the weedless garden, and I just had to learn more. This podcast covers that topic as we meet and learn more about the man who's writing the articles we read so often. Podcast #187

I have listed to all of the 'Podcasts since this summer, and Podcast #187, Joe read my mind, as I was wonder if there was a list for the longevity of seeds. I have saved this file and the seed inventory chart, so that I can get started with my organization of my seeds.

Best gardening podcast

My absolute favorite gardening podcast. Joe gives useful, scientific information from actual experts. He doesn’t withhold knowledge so that you purchase his products, unlike so many other gardening and homesteading podcasts. Every minute is useful info. My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes haha.
