Customer Reviews
Wonderful, Fun, Easy to Listen to
I discovered this podcast a couple of weeks ago and have already listened to almost the entire back catalog. Luke and Kevin are friendly and easy to listen to, and their book reviews are solid and insightful. It's a rare review that can give you a good idea about the book without giving the plot line away, and they do this every week. In each podcast, they review one newer book and one classic to put in the "Man's Library." Both are solid recommendations. I'm not a guy, but I really enjoy Luke and Kevin's perspective and their obvious love of reading and story.
Guys Can Read
After listening a few minutes to their last podcast I stopped my ipod. They tried to incist that Star Trek sci fi was fantasy compared to what they called literary sci fi when all sci fi is fantasy. They seem to think that Star Trek did not deal with real
innovation when there has been one or two documentaries and a couple of books written about the phyics of Star Trek
and the possiblilities of several Star Trek innovations becoming reality.Sorry boys,I tried but I just could not stand your podcast.
