Developers are able to get this type of notable player immersion by designing the lore so that at its core is a faith system of belief for the characters who exist in the world. So, how can this faith system help you know your characters and enhance your roleplay? The Hearthstone Tavern cast takes a look at why a belief system is important in WoW and what is the pantheon of faiths in WoW? They also discuss some ideas on the various ways to roleplay out faith-based characters. Finally, Michael gives us a Cataclysm preview with a look at the Faith of Sunwalkers. There are even fan sites dedicated to these sorts of speculations before any actual stars are even signed. So, why do we do this? How do we come up with these actors? In this episode we ask who WOULD play your character if there was a WoW movie made of your story as a character development exercise. Why would you pick that specific actor? The Hearthstone Tavern cast asks these questions and more while discussing how this sort of “casting” a film of your story can have dramatic results when roleplaying in World of Warcraft with your characters. A great place
I am deeply in love with this podcast. The staff have a vast wealth of experience in roleplaying and the game. I have personaly attended events ran by the staff and can verify that they walk the walk. Well produced, great tips, lore-driven. Hearthstone Tavern is a place I can hang my hat on. Thank you.
The best lore-based podcast
I've known and played with several of the cast members for a long time. Their knowledge and expertise are top notch. They are also very open and helpful to new players and their questions. With the lastest episode they once again show that they are the best!
None better...
No WoW podcast better represents the RP community, offering great tips, lore, and ideas for RP hooks. If only it came out more frequently.
