Hiroshi Sugimoto and David Elliot
I was very excited to listen to this podcast and hence, very very disapointed when it came on and I realized that the sound quality is so POOR that it's alost impossible to understand. The background noise it louder than Mr. Sugimoto's voice. I would think that a podcast from the Hirshhorn would be more professional, but unfortunately this one is not.
Would have loved to love this podcast but ... Sound is awful
I would have loved to love this podcast but I can't. The artists and scholars asked to speak for these presentations are exciting, often they talk coincide with a current show which I always hope will shed more light on an artists work. This could be a valuable tool that I could use in my own research or assign to students to listen as part of an assignment. However the sound quality of the recordings is often so poor it's difficult to hear or understand the speaker. It's a real shame, this could be such a valuable resource otherwise. Please please please Hirshhorn, invest in some better audio recording equipment.
