a bit of the awesome - it's the insight that is so entertaining

Okay it's six hours since my first listen, and I'm already out of episodes. Why is this? Because this column is so exciting, informative and addictive. Cringely points you to important stories, drops loads of facinating details on you, and gives you insight into where things are going. Also he's funny. Just check out the episode entitled 'The Puppet Master', from 9/6/07. His take on Steve Jobs is so wonderful. Cringely's Jobs is a brilliant egotist, your abusive boyfreind, an almost endearingly perverse and petty man. Cringely's column has as much color and thrills as a action comic book. It's got detail, and subtlety and intelligence, and even a race to the moon.

Big fan of the column; glad to have it in portable audio format.

After reading Robert X. Cringely for years and finding him very fun to read, it's great to be able to subscribe to an audio version. This feed is exactly what you'd expect: Cringely reading his columns. You have been warned :)

Great insight, but audio quality has dropped

Great insights. One of the few podcasts I truly look forward to -- but recently (since the end of May?) audio quality has dropped dramatically. To the point where I may have to switch back to the written column.
