In his capacity over time on different networks as writer/story editor, teleplay writer, screenwriter and as Executive Producer of Drama (CTV Television Network), Marty was involved with many television productions. He was the writer of six feature-length theatrical movies. Martys most recent screenplay My Khrushchev September won first prize over 200 entries at the Wildsound Pictures screenplay competition in 2007. His extensive, long-standing network of associates continues to provide considerable opportunities, including his current position as college and university instructor. In our interview, Marty discusses how British and American influences and movements impacted Canadian stage, film and television.
