One of the last true 40k podcasts

Great podcast. They exclusivly about 40k and very rarely get side tracked from that subject. Very informative and a pleasure to listen to. Keep up the excellent standard you've set thus far once you get past the codex's guys; I have no doubt you will.

Awesome

If your looking for a podcast that talks only about 40k this is it. The hosts are awesome, funny and very informative on whats going on in the 40k universe.

Read the Codex First

This was the second podcast I discovered since joining this fantastic hobby. At first, I was incredibly excited to have even more 40k-Pod playing behind me as I painted my models and built my terrain. After a few episodes, however, it became apparent that these guys have little to offer. Unfortunately - even though they have an obvious love for the game - their knowledge of the subject matter they choose to cover is very limited. I started by listening to a few of their older episodes, so they may have "fixed" this by now. What has stuck in my mind was their discussion of the Chaos Marine codex. I have only been playing 40K for a year and that army for about 6 months, but these guys had so many things wrong with the book it was shocking. There was one host (can't remember his name) who consistently chimed in with untrue stats or information that was completley false. What was worse is that his mistakes were rarely corrected. Please don't misinterpret my criticism to be claiming that the show has to be perfect. Mistakes happen and people screw up, but there is no reason you guys should be discussing a Codex of which you have limited knowledge. There were at least 4-5 mistakes (that I caught) that just shouldn't happen. At least have the codex handy if you are disussing it. And if you DID have it handy during this episode - the host who possessed it should have been leading the way and making corrections when needed. I do commend their bravery and determination for going on the air. I also envy them for the gift they have granted themselves: the ability to talk 40K to a potential world-wide audience. Keep it up, guys. Just please - know your subject matter. Otherwise...why would we listen?
