Founded in 1975, IMRU is the world's longest-running LGBT radio program. IMRU is a weekly live progressive LGBT radio magazine that covers news, entertainment, culture, social justice and issues of interest to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight ally communities. Airing Mondays from 7-8pm Pacific on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles/San Diego and 98.7 FM Santa Barbara and streaming live on www.kpfk.org. You can also listen online or download an archived show at KPFK.org

I love IMRU
This is essential listening for all LGBT people. I listen every week and it has been a large part of my evolution and coming to a place of pride and comfort in my sexuality. It's entertaining, informative and it has long time gay activist Rita Gonzalez as well as other talented and dedicated people on air. I hope you can add other older shows in the future. I love you all!!!!!

Thanks IMRU for 35 great years! I'm a long-time listener and greatly appreciate the dedication and talent of the volunteer producers. This show is a great educational and entertainment resource for our community. Thanks for presenting such a wonderful oral history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community and for highlighting our amazing community organizations. Although based out of Los Angeles, these folks present stories of national and international interest. Nice to hear longtime activist Sheri Lunn back on the air. Keep up the good work!
