Exactly what I was looking for...

This podcast is exactly what I have been looking for, a podcast interviewing indie game developers. The episodes are detailed and intelligently directed (I can tell the host is a developer). The episodes are also fairly long, which is good.... by the end you kinda feel like you know the person being interviewed. I only have two complaints (more like suggestions) #1. The audio levels are terrible, please turn them up! #2. I would like to hear the host ask a few more technical questions, in addition to the types of questions he generally asks. Fix these two, minor, things and I would rate the podcast a 5.

Great Info

This is a great podcast that delivers information about game development and similar topics (such as education) from independant game developers. While the production quality of the podcast isnt the greatest, often filled with static, it still keeps me coming back for more. Good stuff.

Informative

This podcast is a breath of fresh air. It has a uniqueness to it that only could exist in our current technological landscape. I consider this a tool that just five years ago anyone getting into programming would miss out on. How rare it would be to have found interviews with developers in the 90's. In the past hosts would have to sum up their time with the interviewee. Having just five minutes to wrap up a topic before the next commercial must be ran. Now the host is literally digging into the meat of the topic. Getting as much information and insight as he can from them. It's something that I believe will have an effect on our ability to "focus" on one thing longer than ten minutes. Television has trained our brains to be fleeting and disconnected from content. Podcast like IGD bring us in depth with the topic. We learn about the guest. Learn about their quest as a developer. I feel as if I know the individual by the time it's over. Whenever there's a two part interview it means the second part will go even deeper into the lives of the person. It makes for an all around honest and down to earth experience. This podcast is stellar and the vast catalog of episodes is a testament to it's necessity. Keep up the great work.
