Still Good, Still Not iPod Compatible
Whether your interest lies in creating your own visual effects or just in knowing how the effects are done the information provided in this podcast is almost always excellent. The episodes are presented in clear, easy to understand (most of the time) language and, unlike a lot of tech podcasts, they aren't boring.
The problem that keeps this from getting a higher rating is the same as it had four years ago, when it started; the podcast will not play on an iPod without being converted. While it's the creator's right to put their work out in whatever format they please, I would think they'd want to make it available to the largest number of people possible. I don't watch video on my computer. I catch the moments I can when I'm on the go. For me, until my Christmas iPad comes, this means on my iPod.
I'll continue to download and convert this show as long as they put it out but I (and a lot of other people, I'm sure) would appreciate it if they made it in a format that allows us to watch it conveniently wherever we might be.
