As former Baptist, it is refreshing that a remaining Baptist appreciates the importance and power of The Sacraments yes not ordinances of the Church. Thanks for helping me think and grow in my relationship with Christ.

A Voice of Sanity
... in the post-evangelical wilderness. That's how the iMonk describes himself in most episodes, and he's right. Michael Spencer discusses difficult cultural and theological issues in American Christianity thoughtfully and with cheerful humor. While more polemical and vitriolic commentators get bogged down caricaturing their subjects, Spencer offers straightforward, conversational analysis with gentle humor and generosity toward his subjects as well as his critiques. I don't listen to many podcasts, but I look forward to the iMonk every week.
