This Podcast Rocks

I'm not a podcast guru, or even much of a podcast listener for that matter. I'm a busy mother who is lucky to find the time to peruse iTunes for new music for my iPod. However...I dig this podcast! I'm not just partial because I'm neighbors and friends with Jim and Nancy either. ;) I guess I'm lucky to know them personally as they have opened me up to this whole podcast thing. Jim is a natural and has "the voice" to keep you interested and curious about what's next. Nancy chimes in at random with the most insanely impossible to know cinema knowledge! Nancy and Jim and the entire gang's knowledge and insight into the Cinema goes well beyond my comprehension of past and present cinema. (which currently only dwells within the Twilight Movie realm). It's great to listen and learn about the threads that have wound the old school movie ways into today's current hits. It's nice to get a history lesson on the Cinema. And the best part of this podcast is it is really entertaining and FUNNY! I enjoy the wit. It is energy shared across the iTunes internet wires that I am grateful for. Be sure to tune in! Movie Virgin

I have to say that I am not much of a movie watcher, and new to podcasts, but this was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. I enjoyed listening to folks who enjoy movies so much and learned something, too! They are great!

Great fun!

Four funny guys and a girl riff on movies and the movie-going experience. Special features include "Six in Ninety," in which Da Man serves up half a dozen film reviews in a lightning-fast minute and a half. Hilarious! Also, check out "The Islander" where interesting people are asked what ten movies he or she would take to a deserted island...and why. These folks talk about all sorts of movies. Like the title says, from cult to classic. It's a fun little podcast that sounds like it's a labor of love by folks who love the movies. Recommended.
