Truth Proclaimed
Warning: Don't tune in to Walk in the Word unless you're prepared to have your life gripped by the greatness of God. The mission of WITW is to “ignite passion in the people of God through the proclamation of truth.” Pastor James doesn't pull any punches; his consistent Biblical teaching will challenge you to reevaluate your faith and realign it with the real Jesus. Packaged in 20+ minute segments, WITW is easy to listen to in one sitting--I listen to it every morning on my way in to work. And the David Crowder theme music is pretty cool, too.
Not Your Father's Preacher!
When my life began to crumble and happiness was being replaced by anger, a friend of mine introduced me to Dr. MacDonald via DVD. Not only did his sermons make sense of what I was going through, he challanges you to live up to God's expectations for you. Realizing I was not in control then giving that control up lifted a great burden from my life. Being in california and only having access via purchasing DVDs or CDs, I was absolutely thrilled to see podcasts available. If you've been to the Harvest Crusades and wonder what to do now? This is the next step.
No Rudder?
If you're being tossed about on the open seas of life, you'll find a spiritual rudder with James MacDonald. He is a bold speaker for God's Truth- make no mistake, you might take a few lumps along the way as you listen. But, Pastor Jame's tough love approach will get you (back) on course towards sanctification, and you'll discover the Holy Spirit's offer for you to take hold of that rudder that's been missing in your life for so long.
