Professor Lockett's Classical Archaeology podcasts are greatly informative and interesting. Great to listen to while driving. Lockett throws in fun facts and anecdotes about most sites discussed. Don't let "archaeology" frighten you as these are art based lectures rather than science ones. You'll learn intriguing information on sculptures, ruins, society, historical figures, antiquities and even myths. If you have any interest in Greece or Rome, this is a must-download! After all, it's free! Plus slideshows are included so you get a great visual to go along with the information, making it great for those who learn either audibly or visually.
This podcast is AWESOME!
I love archaeology AND podcasts! This is the best of both worlds, archaeology information delivered with modern technology. This is an excellent resource for students and arm chair archaeologists alike. Thank you!!!!
Really great course about classical archaeology. Highly recommend.
I have been listening to Jennifer Lockett's podcasts for a while. She really prepares for her courses and knows what she is talking about. I really enjoy listening to her podcasts. I highly recommend her podcasts. All of them! Just where is Texas Christian University? Never heard of it but now I know the name well. Those students should feel so lucky to have Ms. Lockett as their teacher.
