| 1 | Video#539 - God's Purpose Will Come to Pass | Isaiah 14:27 says, "The LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it?" (ESV) God's plan for your life can't be stopped by a bad break, someone leaving you, an injustice or a mistake. It's easy to think that because we aren't where we want to be in life, or we've made poor decisions or faced unfortunate setbacks that God's plans for our life are over. Nothing you have done or haven't done can cancel you from your destiny as long as you keep God first place and continually seek Him. When you don't see a way, God can make a way. When it looks like it's over, God has the final say. | 5/19/12 | Free | View In iTunes |
| 2 | Video#538 - Accept People For Who They Are | It's easy to focus on others' faults and what we would like to change about them. But, God is the one that put the talents, creativity and strengths into each person. Isaiah 64:8 says, "We're the clay and you're our potter: all of us are what you made us." (The Message) Our job isn't to change people. Learn to accept that God is the one directing their steps, making them and molding them into who He wants them to be. If you'll learn to love, honor and accept people for who they are right now, your relationships will go to a whole new level. | 5/12/12 | Free | View In iTunes |
| 3 | Video#537 - God Loves Imperfect People | God loves and uses imperfect people. We all make mistakes. But because Jesus died and rose from the grave, every mistake we will make or ever make has been paid in full. Don't let shame and guilt keep you from receiving God's love any longer. Psalm 103:12 (NIV) says, "As far as the east is from the west, our sins are removed from God's memory." Since God has removed them from His memory, it's time we do the same and move forward with God and receive His love and mercy. You may have made mistakes, but God still believes in you, loves you and has an amazing future in store. Keep your heart toward God, and He will show Himself strong on your behalf! | 5/5/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

I cant throw stones
Let me straight to the point , I dont fit in , I dont say a lot of nice things and to be blunt I am a work in progress . In my darkest days ( drugs , lots of booze and losing jobs) I found Lakewood church . Yes I used to sit there and watch Joel on the TV and drink a six pack of beer . Now I look foward to Sunday to see whats next, am I ready for a regular church not quite yet but Joel reminded me of one thing is those darkest of days . That God still loved me . Could his message have more biblical quotes ( maybe ) but when your really down some time being reminded of Gods love with a practical examples , may do more for some than quoting the Bible
Change my life
For me he is the best you will ever find to give you the push you need to change your life and have a better life with our havenly Father God. I'm from Miami and me and my wife wacth Joel @Lakewood Church every Sunday. God is bether than Life.
He's got it r-i-g-h-t!
I write this particularly for those who don't know Joel Osteen and/or understand why he delivers his message the way he does. He doesn't pretend to be a traditionalist. He makes it very clear - he wants his message of salvation and promise to be the focus, not the rituals or the doctrines out of text. I think he's relatable, and comes across as someone who's gone through the struggles some of us have been through emotionally and otherwise. I appreciate his honestly, his willingness to come into our homes and heart and his determination to show us a better way of life. Close-minded and judgemental individuals would hate him; the open-minded and non-judgemental would love him. To each, his own.
