Christianity Is Christ | “Marty Brogan, one of the elders at King’s Church Medway and Manager of Caring Hands in the Community, shares his childhood testimony and how it affected his view of God and of His love. Many people blame God for all the bad things that happen to them and others, but God is not to be blamed. If God is not to be blamed, then who? John 10:10 says that “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Who is that thief? Satan, the devil is. Blame him, not God! Jesus came willingly to die on the cross for us in order to save us, and Father God loved each one of us so much that it gave Him pleasure to punish His own Son, Jesus, instead of us. We are told by Jesus in Luke 14:17 that everything is ready so that we can have life instead of death, forgiveness for our sins and cleansing for our sins. Marty’s word is God’s truth that will set free all those people who don’t know Jesus yet and will not receive Him because they blame God for all that has happened to them. It is also God’s truth for all those backsliding Christians who have turned away from God because they are blaming Him for something that has happened to them since they became followers of Christ. Marty says, ‘Stop blaming God; it is not Him!” " ’ | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Freedom From Control | “We’ve probably all experienced from time to time people who seek to control us through their negative reactions and emotions, whether in a family, church or workplace situation, but knowing what to do in these situations is often a difficult matter. In this very relevant message, Dan and Nori equip us to deal wisely and lovingly with controlling people. Dan preaches from the story of Lazarus in John chapter 11 and focuses on Martha’s reaction and behaviour when Jesus delayed in coming to her brother Lazarus’ aid. He points out how Martha tried to blame Jesus for her brother’s death and then changed the subject when He challenged her behaviour. In this encounter, Jesus wonderfully models how to deal with a controlling person and make them confront and take responsibility for their own behaviour. Nori then continues with the same theme and preaches from the story of Abigail found in 1 Samuel 25. Abigail was married to a controlling husband whose foolish behaviour threatened the life of all her household. Nori explains how Abigail refused to blame her husband for causing the problem and took proactive control of the situation and chose to trust God for the outcome. Both these messages will equip you to deal with this challenging subject and help you to experience the Lord’s victory in this sensitive area concerning relationships. ” " ’ | 2/22/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Would a Man Rob God? | “In this challenging word concerning tithing, Chris encourages people to ‘take courage’ and trust God with their finances because there is no recession in heaven. Speaking from Malachi 3:8-12, he gives a legal definition of the term ‘robbery’ and goes on to explain its significance within the context of tithes and offerings. He then addresses 3 groups of people who can be found in most congregations. To those who do not tithe because they consider it to be Old Testament law, Chris explains that though we live under grace, the standard required of Christians is higher in the New Testament. Under the New Covenant, all that we are and all that we have belongs to God because we have been bought at a price. Therefore as 100% of our finances belong to God, our giving cannot be expected to be less than the standard of the law. To those who don’t think to tithe because of their financial situation, Chris encourages them to ‘get on board the train’. He explains that tithing is an act of worship and as we worship God through our finances we position ourselves for an outpouring of God’s blessing. To those who are faithfully tithing, he reminds them that the Lord sees everything, misses nothing and loves and applauds a cheerful giver. Concerning this difficult subject, there should be something for everyone within this testimony filled message.” " ’ | 2/2/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Strengthening the Believer | “Dr Hugh Osgood, founder and chair of C.I.C (Churches In Communities) International, preached on strengthening the believer from Ephesians 3:14-21. Dr Hugh’s teaching on this DVD will equip you with biblical truth, which will help you to be strengthened in the inner man so that: Christ may dwell in fullness in your heart, you may be rooted and grounded firmly in the love of God, you may understand God’s love, Christ’s love for you, for the saints, for the world you, together with the saints, may understand that His love has no limits and surpasses knowledge , you may add glory to the church. The key is to pray and ask the Lord to strengthen our inner man just like Paul pray for the believers at Ephesus. Dr Hugh also prays for Pastor Matthew & Mara in preparation for the next phase of KCM according to the power of God working in all of us as the body of Christ at KCM. This message also contains the induction of Chris Gill as a new elder of KCM, during which Dr Hugh Osgood, Pastor Matthew and the rest of the elders pray for Chris and his wife Sally..” " ’ | 1/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Hindrances to Vision | “As Christians, we all have a vision, plan or dream for our lives, but some of us can have negative visions for our lives. The foundation or base for any vision should be God Himself. As we walk closer to God, the vision will become clearer. Unlike us, God can see the future as well as the past and the present; He has complete and perfect vision, and faith is the bridge between our imperfect vision and God's perfect vision. Let us trust the Lord; He always knows what He is doing, even when things don't seem to marry the vision that we believe God has given us. Joseph's life (Genesis chapters 37 to 50) is a clear example of this; he had to wait over twenty years for the two dreams, which God gave him at the age of seventeen, to come to pass. We should also be aware of the hindrances that can cause delay or can even stop these plans or dreams from coming to pass; Joseph's life teaches us these hindrances: (1) pride and arrogance, (2) lack of wisdom, (3) lack of awareness of God's timing and impatience, (4) lack of character; not doing God's will His way, (5) not letting go of the past & unforgiveness, (6) not acknowledging God & not giving Him glory, (7) lack of perseverance, (8) abdication of responsibility, and (9) impure motives. God's visions for our lives are not just for us; He has others in mind whom He can touch and whose needs He can meet through us. Let us dream like Joseph; let us dream through God's eyes! Genesis 39:20-21: “But while Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord was with him;” 1 Peter 4:19: “So then those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” " ’ | 1/13/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

How BIG Is Your Vision | “In this encouraging New Year’s day 2012 message, Chris begins by bringing a small bed onto the stage which is clearly too small for anyone to lie on and then preaches from Isaiah 28:20 ‘ For the bed is too short to stretch out on, And the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it.’ Speaking through the prophet Isaiah, the Lord was warning Judah that their vision of the future was too small because they had forgotten the greatness of their God. Chris then compares the bad report brought by the 10 leaders who spied out Canaan with the good report brought by Joshua and Caleb, and explains that the 10 had forgotten the fact that God was actually going into Canaan with His people. Chris then reminds us of Hebrews 13:5 ‘ … For He Himself has said “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”’ before bringing a reminder that for 2012, our vision for family, finance and health must be big because our God is so big and He is always with us." ’ | 1/9/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Cup of the Covenant | “This DVD is a recording of the service that took place on 18th December 2011 at KCM and it includes: 1. Dedications unto the Lord of Elijah Lungu and Hannah Nwoke. 2. Pastor Matthew’s teaching on the Lord’s Last Supper Pastor Matthew looks at the events that took place chronologically at the last Passover meal that Jesus had with His disciples just before His death on the cross. He teaches us on: 1. The meal itself, the new covenant and institution of Communion by Jesus including the fact that Jesus knew that Judas was betraying Him. 2. The dispute among the disciples regarding who the greatest was amongst them. 3. The washing of the disciples’ feet by Jesus 4. The introduction of a new command by Jesus. Pastor Matthew shares on Jesus’ excitement in regards of eating this Passover with His disciples and His response towards His disciples’ dispute. He also shows us the different aspects concerning the Last Supper of our Lord. Communion is not only the remembrance and commemoration of what Jesus did on the cross and the benefits to us but about Jesus commissioning us to serve one another and love one another as well."’ | 1/9/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The CHRIST in Christmas | “Dan and Nori Chesney are seasoned ministers who work together to bring Biblical truth in a clear and practical way. At this time of preparation for Christmas, Dan preaches a message from Matthew chapter 2 , concerning the three gifts given to baby Jesus by the wise men. Dan states that these valuable gifts were probably provided by Father God to help Mary and Joseph financially when they fled to Egypt for two years after Jesus’ birth. Dan emphasizes the need for people to allow God to set their standard of living, to seek God on how much to spend to avoid debt and to give gifts for the right reasons. He then gives several testimonies from his own life where these principals have been put into practice. Nori continues with the Christmas theme preaching from Matthew chapter 1 concerning Joseph’s difficult decision after he discovered that Mary was pregnant. She talks about his humanity and H his obedience to God during a time of a great relational strain for Joseph and his wider family. Nori then brings a word of encouragement to trust God with our relationships particularly during this festive season. ” ’ | 12/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Investigating Bethany | “Have you ever wondered why Jesus was so familiar with the village of Bethany in the Gospels? Why did Jesus choose to be based at Bethany during the last week of His life on the Earth before being arrested and crucified? Have you noticed how the writers of the Gospels describe Jesus while He is in Bethany? In the house of Martha, Mary and Lazarus and in the house of Simon the Leper, Jesus is reclined and people are sitting at His feet listening to what He had to say. Bethany was the village where Jesus taught, found enough faith to be able to raise a man who had been dead for four days; Bethany was the place from which Jesus would ride triumphantly on a colt to Jerusalem’s Temple on Palm Sunday, the place where Jesus taught His disciples about having faith in God and forgiveness and prayer; it was the place where Jesus judged symbolically the hypocrisy of Israel and its appearance of fruit when it had none by cursing a fig tree there; Bethany was the place where Jesus found two women sensitive and bold enough to anoint Him in preparation for His burial; and Bethany was the place of Jesus’ ascension, the last place He was seen physically, and probably the area in which He will return. Pastor Matthew teaches on all this and more, and he challenges us to be Bethany to Jesus; Can Jesus find in us the faith that He found in Bethany, a faith that produced miracles? Can Jesus find in us the hospitality, the acceptance of anyone (including the marginalised), the provision and the sensitivity and boldness He found in Bethany? Can Jesus find the type of relationships that He had with His friends and those He loved in Bethany, which caused unbelievers to believe in and follow Jesus?” ’ | 12/9/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

WOW! What a Woman | “Following Toba & Tobi Abimbola’s thanksgiving and dedication unto the Lord, Pastor Matthew tells us the story of Hannah, and from her life story, he draws many lessons that we can learn and apply to our daily walk with God. Above anything else, Hannah was a woman of faith, character and integrity despite her difficult circumstances; she not only was barren but her husband’s second wife, who had many children, was tormenting her about it. In the times of Hannah, being barren made women second class. What did she do? She turned to the Lord, she poured her heart to Him and received from Him the peace that she needed to stop being downcast despite her circumstances. She made a promise to the Lord, ‘O LORD Almighty, if You will only look upon Your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget Your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.’ (1 Samuel 1:11). And the Lord remembered her and she had a son, Samuel. Would you keep you word to the Lord? Would you leave your only son aged three with the Priest at the Temple in a different town, only to see him once a year and not having any other children or not knowing if the Lord would give you any other children to replace him? Hannah did! WOW, WHAT A WOMAN! And why was she able to do this? Because she had a first-hand relationship with God, she had the Lord’s peace, she knew her Lord and was fully trusting Him. Pastor Matthew’s aim is to encourage us to trust the Lord with our whole lives, including its destination and goals, just like Hannah did; will you?” ’ | 12/8/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Embarrassing Truth | “Gary Canning shares some of his testimony, calling it the embarrassing truth. He says that everybody has embarrassing truths in their past. These embarrassing truths can be either things that they have done or embarrassing things that others have done to them. There is no one who can say that they haven’t done anything embarrassing in their lives; there is no one who can say that they have never been at the receiving end of embarrassing actions of others. We all have skeletons in the closet. But God knows all those embarrassing truths and He has provided a redeemer, Jesus Christ His one and only Son, in order to redeem us from those embarrassing truths and set us free to be and become who God has made us to be. Many of us are not giving ourselves fully to God and others because of those embarrassing truths. We need to step out of the boat and start being and giving fully, considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one (Luke 6:35 Amplified version) because Christ has redeemed us from those embarrassing truths. Those embarrassing truths are not really holding us back because Christ has stripped them of power; we just need to forgive ourselves, forgive others and move on. We are allowing those embarrassing truths to hold us back. Gary’s testimony is a springboard for us to face those embarrassing truths and move on because they were dealt with at the cross.” ’ | 12/8/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Do Not Abdicate | “On this Remembrance Sunday 2011, Pastor Matthew shares on the subject of abdication. Abdication means to formally relinquish responsibility. We Christians sometimes abdicate or worse still desert and run away from what God has established and ordained for us. This is not about God moving us in an orderly manner to a different part of His Body or to a different role within the Body of Christ, or about God releasing us from a position or role. As clay in the Potter’s hand, we have got no right to become abdicators or deserters, but we have the responsibility to administer our lives well. Pastor Matthew’s sermon includes: 1. God is the Potter and we are the clay, 2. Examples of abdicators in the Bible, 3. Faithfulness is the opposite to abdication 4. Abdicating relationships, 5. God is a restorer This teaching will help you discern whether there are responsibilities in your life which you have abdicated or whether God has released you from, and will encourage you to allow the God of restoration to restore you if you have abdicated in the past. 2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.”” ’ | 11/14/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Determination | “Chris Gill preaches an encouraging word on the subject of determination using the example of the four men who were so determined to get their paralyzed friend to the feet of Jesus, so that He could heal him, that they lowered him through the roof of the house where Jesus was, all the way down to His feet (Mark 2:1-12). Chris explains what determination is and the characteristics of determined people by using examples of people in the Bible, his own experiences, humour and examples. These characteristics are: 1. They believe people can change; they have the heart of Ananias, who anointed the Apostle Paul when he was still Saul; he believed Saul could change! 2. They believe the harvest is coming; they have the heart of Elisha, who believed the harvest was coming despite three years of no rain at all. 3. They wrestle in prayer; they have the heart of Epaphras, who laboured fervently for his brothers & sisters in Christ in prayers (Colossians 4:12). 4. They have their eyes off themselves, but have them on Jesus; they have the heart of John the Baptist, who said to the people following him, ‘Behold! (meaning, ‘stop what you are doing!’) The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world!’ (John 1:29). This word will encourage you to start believing again, to persevere and not to give up in prayer and action until you see its’ fruit and the harvest come forth, to the glory of God. ” ’ | 11/14/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lawlessness & Authority Part 2 | “This recording is of the second part of Pastor Matthew’s teaching on the subject of lawlessness, which appears to be on the increase not only in the world but in the Church of Jesus Christ too. In this final part, he focuses on the subject of authority and submission to authority with many Bible references and examples. He says that many Christians do not submit to authority despite the fact that the Lord God expects us to do so. As a citizen of God’s Kingdom we are to live within the parameters of that Kingdom; we just can’t adhere to some parameters and refuse others. He also explains the following: 1. Submission 2. What the Bible says about submission and who is expected to submit to whom 3. Examples of submission 4. Submitting to authority 5. The only circumstance by which disobedience to authority is justifiable by Scripture 6. Submission to spiritual leaders Romans 13:1-2: “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves.” ’ | 11/2/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lawlessness & Authority Part 1 | “This recording is of the first part of Pastor Matthew’s teaching on the subject of lawlessness, which appears to be on the increase not only in the world but in the Church of Jesus Christ too. In this first part, and with the use of examples and humour, he explains from the Bible the following: 1. What is lawlessness? 2. Types of lawlessness 3. The origin of the Law 4. The origin of lawlessness 5. Purposes of the Law 6. Jesus and the Law 7. The Law of Christ 8. The relationship between the Law and Love Romans 13:8-10: “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow-man has fulfilled the law. The commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not covet, and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: Love your neighbour as yourself. Love does no harm to its neighbour. Therefore love is the fulfilment of the law.”’ | 11/2/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Framing Your Expectation | “Pastor Danny Thornton is the founder and senior pastor of River of Life Church in Syracuse, New York (USA) and a member of Synergy Churches Network, and during his visit to KCM, he brought a word in season for us as a church regarding the following: 1. God created us to have relationships with Him and others, and Satan’s plan is always to destroy our relationships through offenses; Jesus said in Luke 17:1 that offenses will come; there is no escaping them. 2. We need to learn to put offenses in perspective, otherwise unforgiveness and the root of bitterness will take place in our hearts. God has given us the ability to forgive. 3. The way we handle offenses will reveal how spiritually mature we are. The best gift to have is getting along with people. Just like the Apostle Paul did according to Acts 24:16, we too need to work hard to have a clear conscience toward God and men. 4. Frame your expectations of people; humans are humans and you will be let down. Instead, trust God, His Word and keep seeking Him and obey Jesus command of not letting your heart be troubled. Your source of joy is Christ. 5. What about dreams and visions and disappointments? If it doesn’t happen, keep seeking God; it may just not be God’s will or purpose for your life. Pastor Danny is very engaging with his humorous way of delivering God’s Word to us. This DVD will definitely help you put your expectations of people and of your life within the frame of God’s Word and purpose.’ | 10/13/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Gift of Administration | “This service includes: 1. Praise and worship led by KCM’s worship team 2. Communion by Chris Gill 3. Teaching of God’s word by Pastor Matthew Guest on the theme of the gift of administration, being the special ability that God gives to certain members of the body of Christ to understand clearly the immediate and long-range goals of a particular unit of the body of Christ and to devise and execute effective plans for the accomplishment of those goals. Pastor Matthew shows us from 1 Corinthians 12:28 that the gift of administration is listed as one of the power gifts alongside the gifts of healing, working of miracles, teaching, pastoring, etc. and explains that it is not just doing ‘paperwork’ or filing in an office like many of us believe. He says that the gift of administration is a leadership gift of steering others to remain on task and delegating specific tasks to other people according to their gifts and talents. With the use of Scripture, looking at different and great administrators in the Bible, and looking at Jesus as the best leader ever, he continues by explaining that the main characteristic of someone with the gift of administration is that he or she will be busy about the Kingdom of God and his or her desire will be to fulfil the will and purposes of God before his or her own. In a military structure, the key gift in military victory is not the power of the weaponry but rather the correct administration, management or strategy of it. And that is what the gift of administration is, the wheel that carries your gifting. This teaching is not only for leaders, but for anyone and everyone desiring to serve the King of kings, and serve Him well.’ | 10/10/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Creation Vs. Evolution | “Philip Bell is a scientist and educator who lives and works in the United Kingdom. He had worked at a cancer research unit and as a secondary school science, before starting to work full time in Creation ministry in 2001, which he still does, speaking on Bible/science topics in churches, schools and universities. He is now CEO of Creation Ministries International (UK/Europe) and a contributor to Creation Magazine, the Journal of Creation and CMI’s website. Although Philip trusted in Christ as a child and was raised in a strong Christian home to believe the Bible from the very first verse, he compromised with secular beliefs about origins in his late teens. It was during the course of his graduate studies (he studied biology and geology at university and graduated in zoology) that he rejected evolution on both scientific and biblical grounds. He came again to see the Bible as God's completely trustworthy, infallible Word on scientific and historical matters—not just matters of Christian faith and conduct. This message is the recording of Philip’s visit to King’s Church on the 11th September 2011, during which he presented an overview of the subject ‘Creation versus evolution’ and challenged us as Christians to check our world view; who is our final authority when it comes to our beliefs, thoughts and decision making? It should be the Word of God, from the 1st verse of the Book of Genesis! Genesis is a history book and the Bible is the history book of the universe, not a fairy tale. Phil also answers other questions, i.e. what about dinosaurs? Why are we here? Why do I exist? Why is there suffering?’ | 9/27/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Leaders! Listen, Learn & Lead | “Every Christian is called to lead. As we live in a world full of turmoil and moral debasement, as evidenced by the lawless looting that had just occurred in London and in major cities across England, we are called to stand and fight for the truth, salvation and righteousness that we have in Christ. A lot of people think that the body of Christ is dead, but it is not; it is rather a sleeping giant, which would be much more effective in society if every member of the body rose from their slumber and did according to what they are called and anointed to do. For a long time people have had the notion that only those in church leadership are called to go out and do the work of the ministry, yet the Bible says that Jesus Christ “gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Ephesians 4:11-12 (NIV) When a leader organises an event, for instance when the local pastor calls the church for a day out on the streets to preach the gospel, then it is the responsibility of every individual member to embrace that vision and go out and fulfil that mandate from God. When even one person decides not to participate, the whole mission is jeopardised, and therefore God is not glorified. If any one part of your body decided one day not to come out of bed, then you would have trouble functioning all day long. As you watch this recording, please be encouraged in the knowledge that you are the leader that God has called. Therefore, listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do, learn from His word and go lead many to Him. ’ | 9/7/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Mantle | “The message seeks to give an account of ‘The Mantle’ that was passed on to every Christian, disciple and follower of Christ by our Lord Jesus through the “Great Commission” Mathew 28:16-20, Mark 16:14-20 & Luke 24:45-53. Synonymous to this is one of the most spectacular passages in the whole of the Old Testament of ‘The Mantle’ being passed. 2 Kings 2 narrates the story of when God informs Elijah that his ministry on earth is coming to an end and he is to cross the Jordan River and go to a certain place, where a heavenly chariot will pick him up and translate him to glory. Elijah is taken up to heaven in a chariot and his servant Elisha witnesses the whole scene but Elijah’s mantle drops to the ground. When Elisha sees it, he rips off his own clothes, tears them into pieces and places Elijah's mantle on his back. Then he returns to the Jordan and does exactly what his master Elijah had done: He takes off the mantle and strikes the water with it. Immediately the waters part and Elisha walks over on dry ground. This marks the young prophet's own remarkable ministry, more powerful and eventful than his master. In John 14:12-14, our Master Jesus reaffirms us of the power and anointing of ‘The Mantle’ gracefully passed to every believer, which gives every person that believes in Jesus the ability to do the same things that He did. Yes! even greater things than what He did in His ministry on earth. If we ask anything in His name, He promises to do it for us. The mandate, “Great Commission” of every believer is not only in word but also in the power and anointing that demonstrate the power of God to heal, deliver, restore and give freedom to the captive here on earth.’ | 9/6/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Way You Walk That Walk | “In this service, KCM elder and youth leader Mark Stevens asks us,“How is your relationship with God, really?” He starts by explaining that our ‘walk’ with God should be 24/7 and not just a Sunday catch up every week, and that God desires to be in fellowship with us at all times. So with that in mind, he then asks, “Why do we fluctuate in our walk with Him?” Using his own experiences, Mark illustrates how he can become distracted in his own life from ‘the walk’ and by reading from scripture, he describes to us ‘the human condition’, that although we see ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus as written in Romans 6:11, we can still let sin enter into our lives and that, therefore, we must keep our eyes on Jesus through the guidance of His Spirit. He continues by telling us what the benefits of walking in the Spirit are: • Walking in freedom and liberty, with examples from Matthew 11:28-30 and 1 John 5:2-3 • Walking in His love, with examples from Romans 5:5 and 1 John 4:7-19 Mark concludes with practical advice on how to walk in the Spirit in our home life, in church and in the workplace, and reminds us of Romans 8:9, which says; “You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.”’ | 8/24/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

God At Work | “This recording is of the thanksgiving and baby dedication unto the Lord of Amaryah Lucas-Weeks by Tubbs Young, one of the elders at KCM, followed by a message brought to us by Paul Akinbadewa, who is also an elder at KCM. “But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work.” John 5:17 (Amplified) We are reminded of how God worked through the years in Joseph’s life to bring about His plan of deliverance for His people. We also see God at work in the early Church breaking traditions and beginning to reach out to the Gentiles and other nations with His wonderful plan of salvation. He starts by revealing Himself to Cornelius and by pouring out the Holy Spirit on the Gentiles to the amazement of Peter and the other Jewish believers. God has called each one of us to work with Him. We are fellow workers, but let us not forget that God is the prime mover, the senior partner in the work and we work alongside Him. We should always be asking the question, ‘God, what are You doing?’ because He has equipped us and there is always something to be done. Finally we are reminded that there is no independent action in God’s work and that God works when we pray. If we are going to see God work in our lives and communities, then we must be a praying people. This message reminds us that God is constantly at work. ’ | 8/17/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Trust God | “Colin Buckland, the chief executive of Claybury International (www.claybury.org), visited and ministered at KCM on Sunday 7th August 2011 bringing a refreshing word from the Lord from Exodus Chapter 1 verse 1 to Chapter 2 verse 10. As he retells us the story in his own words of how baby Moses was saved and then reads it from the above Scriptures, he encourages us to really picture the situation that is being told, including the emotions that Moses' mother (Jochebed) probably felt and explains how God was in each one of the details of the events that took place. Colin teaches us that likewise God has His hand on each detail of our lives and that He is telling us to trust Him. God is not only in the big large plan but He is also in the detail, in the pain, in the suffering, etc. even though we don't know what He is doing behind the scenes of our lives. Our heavenly Father is saying, 'Trust Me.' Colin explaines that, contrary to what a lot of Christians say, Christian life is not all joy, all victory, all good; suffering and pain is also part of our relationship with God; it is part of the journey. But we need to remember that He is not only in it with us, He is helping us and getting us through it. Once we become a child of God, there is no more promotion; in actual fact, there is no better status or label than 'child of God'. This sermon is definitely an encouraging word for all Christians.’ | 8/12/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Precious Blood of Christ | “Many are at least familiar with the fact that Jesus Christ bled on the cross of Calvary as unusual as that was. Most victims of this horrific punishment simply suffocated as a result of their torture and had their legs broken to complete their demise. Not so with Jesus our Passover Lamb! He fulfilled, as always, Old Testament prophecy: “I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels.” (Psalm 22:14) and, “He keepeth all His bones: not one of them is broken.” (Psalm 34:20) In this message, Marty majors on the blood of Christ in all that it means and provides for us. We hear how Scripture describes the blood of Christ as: Innocent Precious Necessary Sufficient Final Cleansing Conquering Seeking to reveal glimpses of the true value of His blood, Marty helps us to interpret these word based applications in our everyday life. 2,000 years later the blood of Christ is still efficacious today!! When all is said and done, we find that the blood of Christ is still so P.R.I.C.E.L.E.S.S. Christ is still so P.R.I.C.E.L.E.S.S.’ | 7/27/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

True Membership | “Following the Membership Day that took place at KCM on Saturday 16th July, and prior to introducing and welcoming all those new members added to this part of the body of Christ at KCM, Pastor Matthew shares his heart on what church membership really means to him. He shares about what church membership is and isn’t; he explains that when one becomes a Christian, he or she becomes automatically a part of the body of Christ, but the growing, the being equipped and the serving takes place in a specific area of that body; in this instance KCM. Among other things, he explains that church membership has nothing to do with doctrine, but it is about building the Kingdom of God together where we are placed, about walking hand in hand without seeing eye to eye; it is about diversity in unity. With use of examples and humour he emphasizes the aspect of fellowship and being family as members of this part of the body of Christ and encourages us to love one another more and to be more considerate of one another more. He finally invites the new members who introduce themselves and prayed for by already members of KCM. Psalm 133: “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows His blessing, even life forevermore.”’ | 7/20/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lesley Southerden's Testimony | “This is the recording of the King’s Daughters’ (ladies ministry at KCM) meeting, which took place on the 24th June 2011, and during which Sasha Caridia lead the worship and guest speaker Lesley Southerden shared her testimony. Lesley, a 22 year old Christian, Science PhD student, recovering self-harmer and cancer survivor tells her story and how God revealed Himself to her; her struggles in her faith and how the Lord encouraged her; and her sickness and how the Lord healed her and use her to testify of His goodness and love for those who still don’t know Him. Her testimony is an encouragement to keep looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith no matter what we are going through. Her testimony is also very suitable for teenagers as Lesley is very honest and to the point regarding her struggles and pain through her teenage years, which will bring wisdom and guidance to them. Glory to Jesus Who said that He would never leave us (Matthew 28:20)! Philippians 4:13: “For I can do everything through Christ Who gives me strength.”’ | 7/20/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Testimony of PCF's Founder - Jane Walker | “Jane Walker, who has now become Jane Chapman after recently marrying Gary Chapman and who is the founder of the Philippine Community Foundation (PCF), shares her testimony and her work for the Lord among the poorest people in the Philippines who live on a rubbish tip called ‘Smokey Mountain’. As Jane shares her testimony, she puts strongly and convincingly across to all of us the following gold nuggets: Anybody’s past, upbringing or present circumstances are irrelevant to God because He looks at the heart; He only needs a heart that loves Him and wants to serve Him in obedience and humility. Make Jesus the centre of our life and heart at all times; the compass of our lives should always be pointing to Jesus. Really mean it when we pray to God. And we are to pray from the bottom of our hearts; ask Him for help and how to do when facing difficulties, etc. Trust God when we pray instead of trusting man or the church; expect God to provide. Allow God to heal bad memories by being honest with God and ask Jesus to be in the memory so that the power of the memory is broken. Gary Chapman, Jane’s husband, also shares some gold nuggets that are not to be missed at the end of Jane’s testimony, especially that our worth doesn’t change no matter what happens to us.’ | 7/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pride: The Greatest Hindrance | “Pastor Matthew teaches on the subject of pride, which he believes is the greatest hindrance in any Christian disciple’s life, walk and relationship with the Lord. The Lord likens pride to idolatry and says that among other effects, it causes opposition from God; do we really want the Lord God Almighty, Creator and Sustainer, to oppose us? Pastor Matthew teaches us from the Bible, examples and his own experiences the following: What pride is, the origin of pride, what pride looks like, the effects of pride.’ | 7/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Invitation That Gives Real Life | “In this recording, Stephen Lungu preaches on the different invitations that God gives us through our walk with Him. But first, one needs to sit close to God to hear Him talk, otherwise we will not hear Him inviting us. With the use of Scripture, examples, testimonies and humour, Stephen explains the meaning of different invitations from God (or the 7 ‘Cs’ in the Bible as he calls it): ‘Come to Me now’ (Matthew 11:28 & Isaiah 1:18) ‘Come down’(Luke 19:5-6) ‘Come out (to worship the Lord)’ (Exodus 8:1) ‘Confess’ (1 John 1:9) ‘Come in’ (Luke 14:23) ‘Come up here’(Revelation 4:1) ‘Continue’ (John 8:31)’ | 7/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Growing Up | “In this recording, Dr Hugh teaches us from Romans 16:25-27 and Matthew 9:14-17 and encourages us to give Father God glory by becoming established in God. The Gospel (the Bible) and the Holy Spirit’s revelations help us to fulfil God’s commandment to grow up, but we have to co-operate. We need to want to grow up and to continue to grow up; maturity is a life-long process and it happens: Through our fasting, praying & waiting; when we set time aside to grow deeper in God When God shrinks, washes and dries us before using us to bring restoration When God creates new ‘wine skins’ for the new wine to ferment as His provision for our own immaturity If you want to reach a point of maturity in which God can use you for anything for His glory only, this DVD will help you in how to grow up.’ | 7/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Discipleship and Godly Wisdom | “In this recording, Pastor Andy encourages us to not only make converts but to make them disciples too. As a well-known evangelist, he has had the revelation from Scripture that God’s call is to make disciples and that salvation is just the first step of a disciple. He explains that a convert is someone who has received salvation, but remains unchanged. He encourages us to walk the life of a disciple and not of a convert, and tells us how to do it: By allowing God to invade and change each one of our belief system or philosophy, because wrong believing causes wrong living and therefore wrong actions By asking God to give us Hi wisdom according to James 1:5 He encourages us to give God access to all areas of our mind, turn our back from all wisdom that doesn’t come from God, even if it seems good, because it won’t be profitable, and ask God to give us His wisdom. When We See Jesus | “Stephen shared his testimony before teaching us from Revelation 1:9-17 (John’s vision of Jesus), Matthew 17:1-8 (the Transfiguration of Jesus) and Mark 5:1-15 (Jesus restores a demon-possessed man sending the demons to a herd of pigs) and encourages us to find Jesus or more of Jesus by pressing on and by persevering until He is revealed to us. One cannot see Jesus if he or she is not in the spirit, and when you truly see Jesus and He touches you, you will never be the same. He then exhorts us to fulfil the following steps as a church so that we can move on to fulfil the calling of God on KCM of reaching out further and of establishing God’s Kingdom beyond the Medway Towns: To be spiritually engaging To practically equip people in and out of KCM To encourage people consistently, even those outside KCM In summary Dr Hugh encouraged us to be more Kingdom minded.’ | 7/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

From Vision to Mission | “Stephen Lungu, International Team Leader of African Enterprise whose biography, Out of the Black Shadows’, is being made into a film, preached from Mark 2:1-12, which tells us the events that took place when four men who were carrying a paralyzed man to the house where Jesus was teaching could not get into the house and therefore, brought him down through the roof of the house by making a whole in it. Using this piece of Scripture, Stephen shows the process that a vision must go through in order to become a mission. He says that God always gives a mission to one man, of which there are many examples in the Bible. Then the man with the vision from God shares it with others, who then are convicted and therefore move into action to make the vision happen; at this point the vision has become a mission. Stephen also shared about the importance of togetherness in the church; we need to run together and we need to pray together. He says, ‘If you pray, God works. If you don’t pray, then you strife.’ Stephen’s teaching is filled with gold nuggets of wisdom and encouragement. He says, ‘When you’ve seen so much of God, fear goes and the mouth cannot stop talking about Him.’ This is a ‘must have’ sermon for every Christian!’ | 6/17/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

What is 'The Rapture' | “What is the Rapture of the Church? Is the Rapture of the Church the same thing as the Second Advent of Christ? What will happen in the End Times? As Christians, it is important that we know what the Lord has told us in the Bible regarding the events that will take place in the End Times so that we can tell others and warn them that we are living in a time of grace, but judgement will come. Pastor Matthew explains the above and more from the Word of God and shows us a video of what the End Times is expected to look like so that we can be equipped to lead others to Christ. The Lord will come for a Church without wrinkle, spot or blemish and after that, there will be judgement for those who reject the work of Christ on the Cross whether you believe it will happen or not. Following this presentation of what would happen in the End Times, Pastor Matthew encourages us to be bold in sharing the Gospel and praying for the salvation of those near us and the nations. Be equipped with the Word of God, faith and boldness. Titus 2:11-14: “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait and look for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.”’ | 6/10/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Final Destination | “Have you ever thought what our final eternal destination will be like? Is your idea or picture of heaven thwarted by the media (chubby baby angels playing the harp) or has become what you would like it to be? Heaven is a real place just like London or the Medway Towns are and in this DVD, Pastor Matthew Guest shares from Scripture what our final destination will be like. Have you wondered who will be living for eternity on the New Earth, in the New Jerusalem? Have you thought what we will be doing? Pastor Matthew teaches us what the Bible says about these questions and more. He then closes by reminding us that if we are followers of Christ, our citizenship is Heaven, the Kingdom of God, and he encourages us to live our lives according to that citizenship. Isaiah 35:8-10: “And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Oh Death, Where is Your Sting? | “If there is anything certain in this life is that we will all die one day, unless the rapture takes place while you are still alive and you are a Christian or you are still alive when Jesus returns. Most of us try to avoid the subject of death because we are scared of it. But as Christians, we should not have fear of death; most of the Christian population are in fear of death because of ignorance, because of not knowing the truth of what happens when we die. In this DVD, Pastor Matthew tackles the subject of what happens when those who follow Christ and those who don’t die, and does so by explaining the following from a biblical point of view: 1. Some facts about death 2. What happened when a person died before Jesus’ resurrection 3. What happened when Jesus died 4. What happens when a person dies since the resurrection of Jesus 5. How we should approach and understand death If we understand what will happen to us as Christians when we die, we will lose our fear of death. And if we understand what happens when an unbeliever dies, we will be moved to praying more for the salvation of those close to us and to evangelising more.’ | 5/19/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Running On Empty Part 2 | “Have you ever felt that you have got nothing else to give? Do you feel that you are so empty that you have nothing else to give? How do you give when you feel like that? How do you minister, serve and help when you feel totally inadequate? In this second part of ‘Running on empty?’, Pastor Matthew continues to tackle this subject by looking at Samson’s life as told in Judges 13-16 and from it, he explains some of the reasons which can make us feel empty and unable to give. He also draws some lessons from Samson’s life regarding singles and finding a husband or wife, passion and lust. No matter what the reason for your feelings of inadequacy or emptiness (sin, guilty feelings over sin already repented of, selfishness, self-centredness and unwillingness to help and give, hurt or disappointment and doing things in one’s strength), the solution is the same and Pastor Matthew explains this with the use of Scripture. This recording will help you put your life and will into perspective and change so that you restart giving and helping and ministering the way that God wants you to. Philippians 4:13 (Amplified): “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].” And this doesn’t mean we can do anything we want to; it means that we can do all that God wants us to do, even when facing challenges and opposition.’ | 5/11/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Running On Empty Part 1 | “Have you ever felt that you have got nothing else to give? Do you feel that you are so empty that you have nothing else to give? How do you give when you feel like that? How do you minister, serve and help when you feel totally inadequate? In this first part of ‘Running on empty?’, Pastor Matthew tackles this subject mainly by looking at John the Baptist, Jesus and their relationship as it is described in the Bible, and what Jesus did while being at His lowest times while on Earth. This includes: The background of John the Baptist John the Baptist’s ministry and his attitude towards it. The parallels between John the Baptist and Jesus. When circumstances made John the Baptist doubt. What Jesus did when He struggled, even when He was hanging on the cross dying Finally, Pastor Matthew encourages us by saying that in reality we are never really empty, that we always got something more to give and that if we give the little that we have to God, He will make it more than enough. He closes by reminding us of God’s promise to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. This teaching is a great encouragement and tool to help us re-focus and realise that the feelings of total emptiness are lies and that the truth is that we are never totally empty because we have the Lord Who gives and fills.’ | 5/11/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Get A Life | “The Bible says that we are to be conformed to the image of Christ, that is we are to set goals around Jesus and the Kingdom of God rather than around human achievement; but, are we doing it? Mark Stevens, a trustee and youth leader of King's Church, leads us to a time of self-examination; we all have a life, but what life are we chasing? He reminds us that we all give some areas of life priority over others; is it the social life, the married life, the work life, the church life, the school life, the home life, the college life, the church life, etc? Unfortunately none of these lives is the 'TRUE' life; Jesus is the life. With this teaching, Mark encourages from a biblical perspective to examine our lives: 1- Only those who have found Jesus, have found life; do you need to find Jesus? Are you born again? 2- Are the things that you are chasing after in life bringing life to you? 3- Do people around you find life in you because you are continually finding Jesus? Mark also teaches on the subtle current problem that is dimming the light of Jesus in our lives: self-centeredness! Mark's teaching in this DVD will cause you to check whether you have the abundant life that Jesus gives or not; and if you don't have it, how to get it.’ | 4/21/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Fear Not! | “How many times did the Lord said to His people, ‘Fear not!’? How many times did Jesus tell His disciples and followers, ‘Fear not’, ‘Do not be frightened’, ‘Do not be troubled’, ‘Do not be dismayed’? Marty Brogan, one of the elders of King’s Church and manager of Caring Hand’s in the Community, tackles the subject of fear. He says that FEAR is the False Evidence Appearing Real …and that God is not impressed by fear; He is impressed by faith. Marty explains what fear is, what fear does to Christians, the difference between fear and fear of the Lord and, by looking at different pieces of Scripture, he gives us the reason why we should not fear: ‘God is our Father, why would we fear?’ If you have a problem with fear, Marty’s teaching will help you to put things into the right perspective and encourage you not to fear anymore. Psalm 91:1-4 (Amplified): “HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Living The Transformed Life | “The Bible gives us many examples of lives transformed following an encounter with God. Just think of Moses and, even better example, Paul who was Saul before meeting with the Lord on the Road to Damascus. As Christians, we have all had an encounter with the Lord Jesus; He has been revealed to us by the Holy Spirit and the Bible before we came to the decision to follow Him as our Saviour and Lord. We have been transformed from the Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of Light and we are to keep living in the Kingdom of Light, but are we? By explaining how the Apostle Paul left the old self, Saul, behind to never be him again, he encourages us to do the same with our old self. The old man is dead and we need to keep crucifying it when it tries to rise up. Pastor Matthew’s teaching in this DVD tackles this subject; he explains what it is to live the transformed life and how to do it, and he does so by using the Bible, his own experiences, examples and humour.’ | 4/7/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Who Will Be The Greatest? | “Arthur Ashe said, ‘True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever the cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever the cost.’ Jesus’ disciples argued among each other about who would be the greatest in several occasions according to the Bible. At each occasion, Jesus encouraged them to serve others in order to become great. Serving means to put ourselves on hold in order to put others first to benefit them at our expense or detriment. In this recording, Pastor Matthew tackles the subject of servanthood. If we are to mirror image Christ, we should do what Jesus did while He was on Earth so that, just as people met and got to know Father God by meeting and seeing Jesus, people who meet us should meet and get to know Jesus by our lives. He explains that we struggle to serve because our view on serving is wrong; serving is not about position but nature, attitude and purpose. Jesus was still the King of kings and Lord of lords and God’s Son while serving man on this Earth. By explaining this, Pastor Matthew reveals to us our wrong mindsets regarding serving by showing us Jesus’ view on serving; He was the servant King. He also explains the right attitude towards serving and encourages us to put on the nature and character of Christ by serving like He did. Martin Luther King said once, ‘Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve; you only need a heart full of grace.’’ | 4/4/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pastor Matthew's Testimony | “What prospects has a child born as the result of rape, brought up in a family on the ‘at risk register’, unable to read or write following meningitis and finally expelled from school without any qualifications? How can anyone achieve anything in life when everybody around them believes that they will not achieve anything? How can anybody break from the down spiral life they are in? This is a recording of Pastor Matthew sharing his testimony here at KCM on the 20th March 2011 and it includes: his family background, especially his mother’s, his childhood and school life, humorous stories of growing up, how his parents became Christians, his teenage years including times of depression, self-harming, drugs and attempted suicide, and how the Lord brought him back to Him and how He changed him and his family. This testimony shows the power and love of God, which takes a son of a r****t to transform him into a son of God. As you watch this DVD, don’t just see the man; see and know the God behind the man, be encouraged and praise the Lord for what He has done. With Him everything is possible (Matthew 19:26). If He’s done it for Pastor Matthew, He can and will do it for you too! INcorruptible! | “Marty Brogan, one of the elders at KCM and manager of Caring Hands in the Community, preaches regarding the earthquake and tsunami that took place in Japan. He starts by looking as some of the Scriptures found in the Bible regarding earthquakes. He says that scientist spend vast amounts of money in finding out facts that are already stated in the Bible! Isaiah 40:8: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” He explains that everything around us is corrupted and will not last forever, but the Word of God will last forever; the Word of God says that when we are born again, we are born of an incorruptible seed: Jesus, and that our inheritance in Christ can never perish, spoil or fade. With the use of Scripture and humour, Marty explains this subject very clearly and in an easy way to understand. 1 Corinthians 15:53: “For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.”’ | 3/15/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Freedom In Captivity | “Do you find yourself in captivity? Are you going through trials and troubles? Captivity can take many forms: sickness, unemployment, family difficulties, financial difficulties, persecution, times of need, unanswered prayers, etc. In this DVD, Pastor Matthew teaches us on the subject of captivity and how to be free in captivity by using the examples of Judah in the times of Daniel, Job, Joseph, Moses and the Israelites at Marah, and Paul and Silas. He explains from Scripture the reasons why we are sometimes in captivity, the different purposes of captivity, how to deal with captivity, and therefore find freedom while in captivity. He finally encourages us to reaffirm our covenant to the Lord while having communion. Allow the Lord to speak to you about your situation as you listen to this sermon and be encouraged in the Lord, no matter the situation you find yourself in. Romans 8:18-19: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, Who have been called according to His purpose. Let It Shine | “Pastor Matthew Guest shares from Matthew 5:15-16, among other Scriptures, in order to encourage us to let Jesus in us shine both as a church and as individuals so that people may glorify God. We have a great light, Jesus Himself, and therefore we are to expose Him; we are to be extravagant with our faith, with our Lord, otherwise we are not responsible with what the Lord has given us. He explains the purposes to shine the light: to bring glory to God to give light to those around us and therefore encourage them to make a statement to the world regarding Jesus Pastor Matthew reminds us how far we have come in the last 5-6 years and tells us that King’s Church is not for King’s Church, but for God Himself, for His Kingdom and for those around us. ‘King’s is a work of God’, he says, ‘and we are to be responsible with what the Lord gives us.’ Finally, he explains that King’s Church is to be an encouragement to other Christians and is to help other churches build. He also says that we need to be dressed for where we are going and briefly shares on Synergy, a network for churches funded by Pastor Andy Elmes, to which Kings’ Church is joining. Missionaries = Sent Ones | “In this recording, Pastor Matthew explains the meaning of missions and missionaries; the word ‘missions’ comes from the Latin word ‘mitto’, which means ‘to send’ and therefore, the word ‘missionaries’ means ‘sent ones’. ‘Missions’ is about meeting spiritual and physical needs; Pastor Matthew explains that Jesus met both physical and spiritual needs while He was on Earth. With the use of Scripture, he explains that all Christians have been sent out to spread the Good News; we all are on a mission. Wherever we are is our mission field! The mission? To tell others about the love of God for us through Christ Jesus and to share our own experience of Christ with those we come into contact. We are to show God to others in words and actions. He encourages us to realise that we have already been sent out by Christ! And he invites Marty Brogan (elder and manager of Caring Hands) to share on the fruit of the ‘Prison Ministry’ he is involved with. Then Pastor Matthew shares on overseas missions and its purpose, and then invites Paul Akinbadewa (elder and leader of ‘Light the Way’) to share on the forth coming mission’s trip of ‘Light the Way’ to Good Shepherd Homes in India. Paul says that the aim is to make a difference practically and spiritually, shares on the details of the mission’s trip and concludes by inviting us to help ‘Light the Way’ in their trip to India scheduled for the 18th to 28th May this year.’ | 2/16/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Sonship - Our Right as Christians | “Did you know that the moment that you made Christ your Saviour and Lord you were given the right to become a child of God? Farayi Chinyemba, one of the elders of King’s Church Medway, shares about this from John 1:12: “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.” Farayi explains the meaning of the word ‘right’ and, by looking at Galatians 2:11-21, he explains how the Christian Jews in the Early Church struggled with the concept that their right to become a child of God was obtained by their faith alone in Jesus Christ and not because of their natural descent as Jews. That is why they struggled to accept Gentiles who have become children of God by putting their faith in Jesus and who had not been circumcised (as the Law of Moses commanded). Finally, Farayi calls us to understand and appreciate the true riches of sonship. This is done by the renewing of our minds by discarding all thoughts, ideas and beliefs that we have picked up throughout our lives so far that are not in line with the Word of God, and by then embracing God’s ideas and concepts, which are found in Scriptures and confirmed by the Holy Spirit. Most of our perceptions of God as our Father are influenced by our relationships and experiences with our parents and or guardians. Our perceptions of sonship to God impact how we see ourselves in God and how we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ. We need to ensure that we know God as the Father that He is!’ | 2/16/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Present Day Ministry of Jesus | “During his visit to KCM, Rev. Dr. Ivan J. Herald preached on healing. Does Jesus still heal today? From the Bible, Ivan shows us that bad things (sickness) happen to good people and that healing is God’s provision for us. He tells us that Jesus didn’t come to bring God’s judgement on Earth, but to bring God’s love and salvation! In Jesus’ time many people from lands outside Israel walked large distances equivalent from Scotland to Land’s End in order to be healed or bring loved ones to be healed by Jesus. Why? Because they were desperate about their situation! Likewise, we are to be passionate about praying for miracles and healings to see Jesus manifest. Jesus healed the small nuisance illnesses as much as the big illnesses including mental and emotional illness. Ivan encourages us to remember that Jesus is still the same Jesus we read of in the Bible and He still heals. Ivan Herald has been in the people business over 44 years. He has authored over 9 books and several key facilitator programmes. He hosted for 7 years a 15 minute National weekly TV programme called 'Lifestyle Plus'. Ivan has travelled weekly throughout Australia and internationally as a keynote speaker in Marriage/Family and other key areas.’ | 1/28/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Vision's Day 2011 | “This recording of the meeting that took place on the 9th January 2011 and it includes: 1. Introduction of the new King’s Church Medway brochure 2. Presentation of the DVD in the brochure at which the whole 30 minute DVD is played 3. Sermon by Pastor Matthew through which he explains the vision that he believes the Lord has given Him for King’s Church for this year. He explains that as a church we have been doing many things in the last few years, but he believes that God’s eye is not in our doing, but in our being. The doing is great, but it should come out of the being, and the being should be the being that God intended each one of us to be from the beginning. From Genesis he shows us that God’s intention has always been that we should be in His likeness. From Romans 8:29 he shows us that we should be conformed into the likeness of Christ. God is looking to find Christ in each one of us and in KCM as a church. Romans 8:28-29: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. 29 For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.”’ | 1/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Love Never Ends | “This podcast follows the ‘All you need is love’ sermon as Pastor Matthew continues on the subject of love and in it you will find an in depth study of 1 Corinthians 12:31 to 1 Corinthians 13:7. The aim of this study, as it was for the Apostle Paul who wrote the Book of 1 Corinthians, is to show the necessity and the importance of love. And not only this, but to give us a description of the properties, effects and fruits of love so that we can check if we have this ‘Agape’ love in our hearts and if we don’t have it, to encourage us to fall in love with it to the extent that we will not rest until we obtain it. To be honest, we can never say that we are continually displaying this kind of love to others, so we can all do with more of this love. Pastor Matthew explains what this ‘agape’ love is versus the other types of love (‘eros’ and ‘philo’) and that this love is even more important and necessary than the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He then explains in depth each one of the attributes of love as they appear in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Love in us should supress anger, pride and vain-glory, selfishness and bitterness. Love is the only cure if you suffer from such. This recording will encourage you to check your motives behind each one of your ‘good deeds’ because if you are not motivated by love for God and others, then you gain nothing at all and you don’t impress God either.’ | 12/20/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

All You Need Is Love | “Pastor Matthew’s teaching on love. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12 & 13 about the most excellent way: LOVE. Before we are anything, we are called to be a people who love others. Through this teaching, you will learn what love is and how we are to love one another according to 1 John, Chapter 4, and what Jesus said about love in Mark 12:28-34. Pastor Matthew emphasizes that we make the invisible God visible to others when we love one another, and he challenges us by asking us if we are allowing God to love people through us and if the people we say we love know that we love them. Furthermore, do we allow others to love us, to demonstrate God’s love for us? This teaching will take you to another level in your understanding of love and will encourage you to love others the way that the Lord and the Apostles John and Paul teach us in the Bible, even if you don’t feel like loving others because you have been hurt. Pastor Matthew says that it is all about allowing God to love people through us. He concludes by reading the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) in order to explain that we are called to be faithful with what God has given us regarding the currency of love. ‘Love loves what love loves!’’ | 12/20/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Walking Through God's Fire | “This recording of the service that took place at KCM on Sunday 6th December 2010 and in it you will find: James Lungu, one of the deacons at KCM, sharing the testimony of God’s dealing with him in the last 6-7 years. James not only shares his testimony but he shares the process through which God took him as he battled with sickness (both of his kidneys stopped working and he was on dialysis 3 times a week for 5 years until he received a kidney transplant 6 months ago) and his own rebellion and disobedience to God. James explains the 2 different fires through which God allows us to walk through: the fire because of disobedience and rebellion (Jonah’s experience) and the fire of testing (Job’s experience). Whichever fire you are walking through, you will find James’ testimony inspiring and encouraging. To God be all the glory!’ | 12/20/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

What Lurks in the Deep? | “What is lurking in the deep of your heart? Just like the tsunami waves revealed strange looking fishes from the bottom of the ocean, some of them never seen before, so does the Holy Spirit reveals the bitterness and unforgiveness that is in the depth of our hearts if we only ask Him to do so. Our hearts are deceitful, Jeremiah 17:9 says, so the Lord is the only One Who can reveal what is in them; many of us are walking blissfully unaware that we have bitterness in our hearts because we have learned to manage the symptoms of bitterness so that others don’t see them. Pastor Matthew shares from Scripture and from his own personal walk with the Lord on bitterness; he explains how wrong bitterness and unforgiveness is in relation to the work of Christ on the cross; Christ died for the sins of the whole world, including those who offend us and those who don’t even repent of their wrongdoing; Christ paid the penalty for their sins, therefore we cannot hold it against them. Each one of us is forgiven by God through Christ’s work on the cross; that thought should encourage us to forgive others in the same way that God forgives us; choosing not to remember, not to tell others about it, not to make those who hurt us feel guilty, etc.’ | 12/15/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Proverbs' Prosperity & the Poor | “Marty Brogan, one of the elders at KCM and manager of Caring Hands in the Community, teaches us what the Bible says about the poor. Marty challenges us in our perspectives and attitudes regarding the poor in our society and helps us, using Scripture and his own personal experiences in Caring Hands, to view the poor through the eyes of God. Not only does Marty give us examples of how the Early Church was engaged in working to benefit the poor in their community from its very beginning but he takes us on a journey through the Scriptures in order to show us God’s expectations of us regarding the poor. In this DVD, you will also find Charles Gilkes and Alan Shaw sharing powerfully from their hearts and from their experiences as volunteers regarding the work of Caring Hands in the Community and the poor. Galatians 2:10: “All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.” Proverbs 19:17: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will reward them for what they have done.”’ | 11/22/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lessons On Leadership Part 5:How To Recieve Leadership | “The degree of your success in completing the duty that God has given you depends more on your spiritual state and the degree of your obedience to God than on any other knowledge, experience, charm or strategy. This teaching is not aimed only at those in or at the brink of moving into a leadership role within the church but at everybody because most of us are in a leadership position, whether at home as a husband, wife or parent, at work, at school, college or university, etc. In this last part of the series on leadership, Pastor Matthew teaches us the way in which we should receive a leadership role by looking at how King Solomon and Joshua received and started in their respective leadership roles. From Scripture, personal experience and with his habitual sense of humour, Pastor Matthew points out, among other things, that the right attitude in receiving a leadership role is with: • Humility. So be aware of pride creeping in. • Dependence on God; Solomon asked for wisdom and discernment from God. • The awareness that you are God’s servant and that God is the ultimate leader; God is leading through you; let Him! • Recognition of your weaknesses. • The awareness that you will be accountable to God. • The decision and determination that you will be obedient and faithful to God.’ | 11/10/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Storms | “Pastor Andy Elmes is the founder and senior pastor of the Family Church in Portsmouth. He is a visionary leader who has seen his church grow from 12 people to over 600 in 10 years. He has also planted 2 other churches, one in Havant and the other in Gosport. He is also the founder of the Synergy, which is a network of like-minded ministers who desire inspirational relationships and growth in their leadership, ministries and lives, independent of the style of church that they lead. Pastor Andy is married to Gina and they have 5 children. In his visit to KCM with Gina, Pastor Andy preached from Luke 8:22-33 on the subject of storms using his down to earth approach and sense of humour so that everybody can understand and relate to what he is teaching. He said that there are three different types of storms which afflict Christians: 1. Storms of life 2. Storms from God (Jonah’s storm) 3. Storms of opposition Although Pastor Andy talks about all these three types of storms, he concentrates on the last type: storms of opposition. With this DVD you will learn how to differentiate the storm you are in and how to manage that storm without forgetting that whatever you are going through, there is another side… and you will laugh a lot while you learn.’ | 11/8/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lessons on Leadership Part 2:Grace Before Judgement | “Pastor Matthew continues this study on leadership and in this second part, he concentrates on grace and judgement as we follow the events that took place after Solomon extended grace to Adonijah (part 1). When one receives grace, one must decide what he/she will do with that grace. There are always 2 options: 1. To yield to grace by being thankful and changing one’s ways 2. To continue in one’s ways Unfortunately for many, including Adonijah and Shimei (1 Kings, chapter 2) as the examples used by Pastor Matthew, if one doesn’t yield to grace and changes his/her ways, judgement and discipline from the Lord will follow on. Pastor Matthew says that if we don’t yield to the grace that the Lord gives us in our wrongdoings and sins, He will judge and discipline us. He then continues to teach from Hebrews 12:4-13 on the Lord’s discipline, showing us that the reason why the Lord disciplines us is because we are His legitimate children and it is for our good. ’ | 10/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lessons on Leadership Part 4:Raising Leaders | “Pastor Matthew continues the series on leadership by concentrating on how potential leaders are to be raised up according to the Bible. He does this by looking at the best leader of all: Jesus. Pastor Matthew looks at six aspects of Jesus leadership which we can apply to our lives as leaders or as potential leaders. And even if you are neither, this DVD will provide you with truth that you can apply to your life. These six aspects of Jesus’ leadership on which Pastor Matthew teaches us are: Jesus chose each member of His team, Jesus taught them, Jesus commissioned them, Jesus rebuked them, Jesus equipped them, Jesus prayed for them, Finally, Pastor Matthew shares on the last words that Jesus told His disciples before leaving them.’ | 10/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lessons on Leadership Part 3:How To Pass On Leadership | “Pastor Matthew looks at how leaders should pass on leadership to others by concentrating on how King David handed over his leadership and authority to his son King Solomon just before he died. By sharing from 1 Kings 2:1-12 and from his own experience, Pastor Matthew shares on several issues regarding leadership and how new leaders are to be appointed the Bible way; God’s way. What do you think was that King David said to his son King Solomon as his successor before dying? It was not a lesson in how to lead Israel as a country; it wasn’t a history lesson on how he, David, had lead and ruled Israel; it wasn’t a lesson regarding diplomacy and military tactics; no, it was a charge to observe what the Lord God requires; to walk in the ways of the Lord and keep His decrees and commands, His laws and requirements. That was the key! Pastor Matthew also shares from Numbers 27:15-18 on how Moses passed his leadership baton to Joshua and encourages leaders to spot potential leaders by searching God on who He has chosen to be a leader and by looking at their character; they must portray Jesus’ character. The fruit of the spirit must be seen before someone is given authority and leadership. You will find this and much more regarding leadership in thispodcast.’ | 10/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Lessons on Leadership Part 1:Illegitimate Authority | “Pastor Matthew teaches from 1 Kings Chapter 1, which is a recount of the events that took place when seventy year old King David was very frail and confined to bed, and his son Adonijah proclaimed himself king of Israel even though he knew that Solomon, his brother, was the one chosen by God to be king after David. There are so many golden nuggets of wisdom that we can apply to our lives from the events recorded in this piece of the Scriptures. We can learn about: 1.Leadership: Self-promotion leads to demotion; beware of pre-eminence. Let God promote you. Division. Leaders lead from the front and not the back. Illegitimate authority. 2.Parenting: We are to train and discipline our physical and spiritual children; what happens when we don't. King David was a great leader, but a poor father. 3.You cannot reach a holy God with unholy means; 'If there is a spin on it, don't do it!' 4.God's sovereignty; his plans will prevail always and he will use people to bring them to pass 5.Marriage: one wife to one husband. Sex is the product of marriage and not the other way round. 6.Keeping one's word; What is your word worth? What value do you give to Jesus' word? 7.Old age; even though King David was old, frail and bedridden, he didn't compromise, but fought for what was right in God's eyes. 8.Grace; Solomon was secure in his position as king so he was able to show grace to Adonijah even though he wouldn't have shown grace to Solomon if his plan of being king would have succeeded. ’ | 10/7/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Membership | “As King's Church Medway welcomes those who attended the Saturday Membership Day and decided to become members, Pastor Matthew shares his heart regarding the meaning of 'membership'. And he does so by using Nehemiah's example of commitment to God's people as well as looking at Scripture from the New Testament. Being part of the Body of Christ talks about serving, supporting and loving one another, Pastor Matthew says, and he goes on to explain the difference between 'call' and 'service'. The meeting closes with the introduction of the new members as they share briefly why they want to join this part of Christ's Body at KCM. This DVD will give you an insight to the meaning of membership, to the attitude that we should have towards one another within the Body of Christ and the result of members' commitment and right attitude of loving one another. Ephesians 4:15-16: “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him Who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” John 13:35: “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” ’ | 9/27/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

In this DVD, you will find 1.a quick historical overview of the Jews and Jerusalem in relation to the book of Nehemiah 2.Nehemiah was not a reactionary 3.Position of influence versus position of power 4.What motivated Nehemiah to give up his comfort zone? 5.Waiting for the right timing before sharing what the Lord has put in your heart to do. 6.Nehemiah's strong leadership skills; he was similar to Jesus 7.Good leadership says, 'Don't serve us', but 'serve the Lord with us' 8.Taking ownership; being passionate about God's people and His kingdom 9.Meeting the threat versus running away 10.Are you a builder, a soldier, both or just miscellaneous in the body of Christ Hebrews 10:35-39: “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay. The Name of Jesus | “This message starts by showing that Jesus has been given a name which is exalted above every other name because of all that He accomplished on the cross. For those of us who are christians, we are have been born into God's family only because of the name of Jesus and there is salvation in no other name. We have also been called to honour that name in our daily lives and to live as ambassadors of Jesus. We are to pray in that powerful name of Jesus. This is not just about mentioning that name in our prayers but coming before God recognizing that Jesus has paid our debt and knowing that we can come boldly to God because of what He has done. There is healing and deliverance in Jesus name and can expect healing as we pray for one another. We have also been sent out in His name to tell others about Him. The seventy disciples came back rejoicing saying “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” As believers we are reminded to reach out to people around us knowing that we go in that same authority because we are sent by Him.’ | 9/1/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Does God Still Love Me? | “Albert Lakanu, an elder at King's Church Medway, shares a word of encouragement with the body of Christ concerning the moments in our lives when circumstances make us question whether God still loves us. When those times come, he exhorts the church to keep in mind a number of things: • God has given us overflowing grace and the gift of righteousness so we can reign in life as kings through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). • When we fall and sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us. God is love. Therefore, He would never forsake His children but He gives them the ability to resist and power to endure when temptation comes. • Encourage yourself in the Lord. God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power. Even King David encouraged himself in the Lord when he was overwhelmed with danger. • Develop a right attitude. Let the Spirit of God renew your mind. Bring every thought into the obedience of Christ. Stop complaining and murmuring. Rather, be sincerely grateful for the things the Lord has done for you. • Set your mind and heart on the right track of understanding the word of God. Ask God to give you the right motives for everything you want in your life so that He is glorified in all you do.’ | 8/26/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Stepping Out of the Boat | “Farayi Chinyemba, one of the elders at King’s Church Medway, brings a word through which he encourages us to keep acting on God's Word no matter what opposition we face. Reading from Matthew 14:22-36, Farayi discusses a situation familiar to Jesus Christ's disciples as some of them had been fishermen. They had drawn from experience on how to deal with the storm they were in. Sometimes, as Christians, we get into situations we are reasonably comfortable to handle so much that we don't even draw on faith. From verse twenty-five, the situation takes a twist when the disciples are terrified to see what they think is a ghost walking on the water towards them. Christ reassures them by telling them it is He. Yet Peter asks Jesus to command him to Himself, which Jesus does. Peter steps out and takes a few steps before he starts to sink because he has taken his eyes away from Jesus Christ. The Lord reaches out and catches him and takes him back to the boat. When we get into situations beyond our control we can rely on God's command to take us through, and even when we fail and fall, His gracious arm is there to save us. We need to keep our faith in God and not walk by sight. We should also keep in mind that faith catches God's attention like nothing else. He is not pleased with doubters. We should walk by the revelation that Jesus Christ is Lord and in control over each and every circumstance we are in. ’ | 8/18/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Baptism With The Holy Spirit | “In this sermon about the difficult subject of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Matthew explains the following from Scripture: 1- The Holy Spirit is not an ‘it’, a force or power but a ‘He’, a person, a divine person co-equal with Father God and Jesus. He proves from Scripture and by sharing from his own experience the reasons why the Holy Spirit is a person. 2- The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament did not fill people permanently like He has been doing since Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension to Father God. 3- The difference between infilling and sealing of the Holy Spirit at salvation and baptism with the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in each one of us the very moment that we become Christians. 4- What baptism with the Holy Spirit really is and its purpose in our lives. 5- How one receives the baptism with the Holy Spirit; it is really that easy! Acts 1:8: (Jesus says) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”’ | 8/12/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Your Dad and His Kingdom | “Max Lakanu, one of the elders of King’s Church Medway, preaches on the Kingdom of God. After giving the definition of kingdom, Max explains that throughout history one can see that any kingdom was, and is, to be advanced. There is no exception when it comes to the Kingdom of God. But advancing any kingdom was and is hard work. The whole Bible is about the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Max explains what the Kingdom of God is: God’s culture, God’s way to do things and how things are meant to be according to God. That is what we are advancing. He says that Satan is the illegitimate ruler; there is only one monarch, one king, and that is God, and eventually the Earth will become fully colonised and God’s dominion will extend from heaven to all the Earth forever. With the use of the Bible and Myles Munroe’s material, Max shares on the Kingdom of God so that we are better equipped to advance His Kingdom by knowing what the Kingdom of God is and who we are in Christ.’ | 8/5/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Is The Bible Relevant? | “Marty Brogan an elder at KCM and Centre Manager of Caring Hands in the Community brings us a question and a challenge. He asks “Is the Bible relevant?”, a question on the lips of so many these days. Various objections to its historical record keeping, especially the genealogies portray the scriptures as boring. As Christians we are called of God and instructed for such occasions; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 1 Peter 3:15 (KJV) Thankfully as Christians we have the privilege of revelation from the life giving Word of God! So in an effort to confront such objections head on this simple study of the first recorded genealogy in Genesis chapter 5 helps to bring to light a hidden wonder of the Bibles divine design! The Pursuit of Friendship Part 1 | “The only things that you will take with you when you die are your relationships! You will not be taking any suitcases, successes, achievements or any of your property.’ Pastor Matthew introduces the ‘In Pursuit of Friendship’ teaching within the ‘Pursuit series’ by sharing his heart on the subject of friendship and friends. He shares on what pursuit and friendship is and continues by explaining some thoughts and giving examples regarding the subject before concentrating on the biblical recount of what happened when four men decided to take the paralyzed man to where Jesus was as recorded in Mark 2:1-5 Among other things, Pastor Matthew says that: Man ever first friend was God; before Eve was created, Adam’s first friend was God Relationships should not be about what we can get out of them, but about what we can put in, what we can give; have a vision for your friends! Everybody needs friends with faith in God, who can and will pray for you, encourage you, carry you and press in on your behave. In order to have friends, one needs to be a good friend, and being a good friend is costly. How much do your relationships cost you? Pastor Matthew challenges us by asking us if we have anyone in our lives like those four men/friends of the paralyzed man, or better still, are like one of these four friends? | 5/10/10 | Free | View In iTunes |
