Engaging and Fun

My wife and I are getting a kick out of these short and helpful lessons that introduce essential Korean phrases along with cultural insights and helps. The lessons are short (usually about 5 minutes each), not overwhelming, and there's plenty of repitition of phrases, both at normal speed and slowed down. The whole approach is upbeat and happy. The teacher's personality is sparkling and attractive. With the help of these lessons, I feel some confidence that when the parents of our new Korean daughter-in-law show up to visit they—and she—will know we cared enough to try to approach them on their terms.

Great Podcast

Learning Korean is difficult. However, with these podcasts, I've learned more in a week, than I did living here in the course of a year. GREAT JOB.

The best way to learn Korean on iTunes.

I have been using survival phrases to learn Korean and it has made a huge difference for me. The main advantage of this format is the presentation of the material. The teacher repeats phrases and the component parts and helps you understand the correlation between their english translations. I like the way the words are broken into syllables and repeated at varying speeds. The best one was how to say "I'm sorry" this was a hilarious podcast... I will NEVER forget how to say I'm sorry in Korean. The only criticism I have of this series is that there are not enough of them yet! Great - 5/5 excellent work.
