Lots of Fun

I really enjoy the Last Bite podcast. The ladies bring a good mixture of the HBO show True Blood, the Sookie Stackhouse novels, and vampire genre goodies. Over time, the spoiler-alerts have gotten better which is a plus! The one thing I have an issue with is the sound quality. The mics tend to be too sensitive to breath and exhalation; especially Maria's. This podcast is quite enjoyable but the lack of sound quality is sometimes distracting...and a tad annoying. That said, I give Last Bite 4 stars. =o)

On the Fence about this Podcast

The ladies on this podcast seem like nice, hardworking people who are true "fans" of True Blood and the Sookie Stackhouse books. Be forewarned you are basically listening to 3 ladies talk about the series. This is OK, but there seems to be no real format per se, and its much like listening in on a local church group or book club rather than an official radio show. I am a talk radio lover, so I really expected things like, bumper music, skits, fun personalities, segments etc. Last Bite is not at all like this, however, the ladies seem like someone you could just meet in a coffee shop and dork out over Sookie. Please note I am the BIGGEST Sookie dork, so that's not the worst thing in the world. So if you are OK with a lot of uh's, uhm's, "OK...lets see" and loud sometimes earshattering giggles, go for it. Just keep your finger on the volume setting. WIth that being said, the conversations are quite interesting and I often wish I could call in and discuss!

Kudos to the ladies for the Alexander Skarsgard interview! The sound quality could be better, but this is an entertaining and fun podcast
