| 100 | VideoAcorn Electron Review | The Acorn Electron was the baby brother of the BBC Micro, both of which are relatively unknown outside of the UK and Europe. And although it wasn't the unprecedented success Acorn might have hoped it to be, it's still an awesome 8-bit machine that I think any computer collector or retro gamer should consider! This is a basic overview of the history, hardware and software of the Elk, from the perspective of an American collector. How do the pros and cons stack up, and is it worth getting an Elk over the BBC Model B? Many thanks to UKRetroGames for the Electron! http://www.youtube.com/user/UKRetroGames Also a big thanks to ImperialProductions for the Elk software! http://www.youtube.com/user/ImperialProductions Get your LGR swag here! Nostalgic
A very informative and entertaining way of reliving or first introducing yourself to some of our great retro systems and games of a era no so long ago. Podcasts are very imaginative and topics are very broad. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post these podcasts.
Underrated
An underrated retro software/hardware and sims games reviewer that deserves more recognition than he is currently getting. An entertainer who refrains from following the foulmouthed "bad games reviewer" bandwagon, keeping his content clean and wholesome (for the most part.) A guy who isn't doing it for easy internet fame; he does it simply because it's what he loves.
