Podcast Description

Advancing the cause of liberty in light of the principles of the restored gospel. God has given to every individual the inalienable right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness (Property) as part of the Plan of Salvation. Any violation of these rights, whether by a single individual or a group of people (i.e. government), is immoral and against the will of God. The only just and proper role of government is to protect these rights from the aggression of others.

Why don't more LDS believe this way?

I found this pod cast by searching through iTunes. I listen to it while I commute to and from school. I really enjoy it. They give a lot of great reading suggestions too. I am well versed in many of the main writings they reference, and so it is nice to be familiear with authors and articles they are talking about. I always wonder why more LDS people don't believe this way? We have the restored gosple and the guidence of the spirit to help us know truth from error. We have the examples of the BoM which perfectly parallel our current circumstances. Why can't they see it? How could they think that a neo-con (Mitt Romney) would have been the right choice? Why can't they see that Ron Paul is essentially a founding father incarnate? I am a libertarian and I love what you guys have to say. I don't always agree with you 100%, but that is ok. If we had every thing the way it should be we would be living in an anrcho-capitalistic society. Keep up the good work guys! Spread the message, it is resonating more than you know, especially amongst the younger generarions like ourselves.

You Have To Listen To These Guys!!!

Man was I lucky to stumble upon these guys! Consider myself an Ultra Conservative who listens to a lot of talk radio. They made me rethink my views on a number of issues; the war in Iraq, taxation, etc. We need to be constantly challenging our beliefs while keeping them aligned with the gospel. They talk about some very difficult topics without being condescending about it. You can tell they are sincere about what they speak of and would reccommend any Latter Day Saint to listen!

For LIBERTY lovers!

Not just LDS folks, although members of the LDS faith will appreciate frequent references to the Book of Mormon and modern-day prophets. But the principles of liberty laid out by these podcasters are "Spot-On"! I'm thoroughly enjoying their work as well as getting better equipped to defend liberty!
