| 2 | VideoTech Tutorial Video: How Lawyers Can Send Large Files Securely with SendThisFile | Many lawyers think sending confidential client documents over email is secure, without risk. But did you know you might as well post that information on a billboard? When you email a document, your message gets routed without encryption through multiple servers before it ends up in your recipient's mailbox. In addition, sending large files is tricky. When's the last time you had good luck sending a large video file or enormous, 100MB file over email? Many email providers refuse to send large files, setting limits at 25MB, effectively ruling out email as a channel for transmitting big resources. So how can lawyers send large and/or sensitive documents electronically? The free service SendThisFile can help. Our Tech Tutorial video shows you how to get started. | 9/20/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Also discussed: If attorneys are going to use cloud computing, what do bar associations have to say in respect to Rule 1.6 governing client confidentiality? While ethics opinions are still forming, early indicators from the ABA and California state that lawyers must use due diligence to use the cloud responsibly. | 6 | VideoiPhones for Lawyers – 60 Apps in 60 Minutes for Busy Attorneys | This podcast episode is all about hotness in your pocket. Legal technology iPhone hotness, that is. Based on a webinar from Rocket Matter's Co-Founder and Chief Software Architect Larry Port, we examine 60 of the newest, coolest, and interesting iPhone apps for use in your hectic life as a legal professional. Word of warning: some of these apps are fun. It's our position that you need a little levity especially if you're a highly functional (and stressed) professional. Not everyone shares this opinion, however. One attorney wrote us in an angry tone that featuring "Yearbook Yourself" was a time-waster. Judgement call. This podcast episode features the first 14 minutes of the presentation. You can download the full version of our iPhones for Lawyers presentation here. | 6/3/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Customer Reviews
Great Legal Podcast! Insightful and Humorous, and the host is good-looking
OK - so I'm a little biased as the host of this podcast. But lemme tell you something in a completely objective, unbiased way: this is the best podcast in the world.
Next to "This American Life" and "TED Talks", that is. Ok, and maybe Weird Al's Podcast.
But in terms of legal podcasts, and legal productivity and time and billing and trust accounting and legal technology and all of those things, you can't beat The Rocket Matter Podcast.
