These short action suggestions from the Friends Committee on National Legislation a Quaker lobby in the public interest, give you the one thing you can do this week to lobby Congress and advance a better world. FCNL is a nonpartisan peace lobby in Washington, DC and works with a network of tens of thousands of people across the country to inform and reframe the debate on Capitol Hill.

Healthcare Reform is fine - But,...... No Big Government!
If We The People want this, We The People need to solve it (not Big Gov't). At any given time, one may favor the current President. One may want to grant more power to the President to solve a long-standing problem. Keep in mind, one does not grant power to the President. One grants it to the office of the President. At another point in time, one may no longer favor the President, yet the power granted still exists and may not be used as originally intended.
