Poor sound quality undermines an otherwise good show
The first podcast I listened to was the one with Silkenvoice--she promoted her upcoming appearance on her own podcast and I was curious as to what she would interview like. My first problem with this podcast is the sound quality: sounds like it is recorded on a speaker phone or something. Silken came through clear as day except for some occasional interference. Everyone else sounded low and fuzzy. Saxie is almost unintelligible on most of the shows--I think she needs a better phone when she calls in. A lot of this could be remedied with some post-production work in Audacity. The actual content of the show is good--it is a real shame that the recording quality is so variable--and as long as it takes so much effort to discern what is being said, this podcast will always be very obscure.
K-- and her crew are a blast
I did an interview with K-- and her crew and they are an interesting bunch. The conversation was lively and interesting, and as always, K-- did her research and took the time to think about it, too :) I'll agree with a previous reviewer that the sound quality is challenged at times, but the content is worth focus sometimes needed to hear it clearly.
