vicariously

as a never-been fan of two and a half men, it's nice to have someone watch it for me and let me know how crappy it is in detail. now i feel like i'm in on the joke, without having to endure it myself!

A blessing

This podcast restored my faith in humanity. it features the harmonious musings of a beautifully, happily married couple waxing poetically about how terrible something the average person likes is. Truly a gift in these dark times.

Finally, the McElroys cover this artifact from modern culture.

If you are a fan of My Brother My Brother And Me, then you need no introduction to Justin McElroy. However, you *might* need an introduction to his lovely wife, Sydnee McElroy. They host a podcast about life after Sheen.

I sincerely hope this isn't a one-off, because this is one very, very funny podcast. If, like me, you've never caught a single episode of Two And A Half Men, then first: good job! Secondly, now that Charlie Sheen's on/off-screen antics have pummeled the show into submission, it's emerged at the corner of bizarre and idiotic. Justin and Sydnee are here to keep us on the path.

At once cliche, morbid, chance-taking, and inscrutible, Two And a Half Men is in new territory. I look forward to the couple's examination of each upcoming episode. That is, of course, until the show implodes under the weight of absurdity and irrelevance.
