excellent stuff
MRR has been around, what, 25 years? This weekly podcast has a wide variety of punk type stuff, old and new. Lots of international stuff, too. It is well worth listening to, if you are into discovering music beyond the commercial, mainstream crap. Read the magazine too, it is still good.
The best (and only) game in town
Maximumrocknroll is the longest-lasting punk radio show, and your only choice when it comes to surveying the latest and greatest in punk, hardcore, and the more hard-hitting indie releases. Relaxed, spirited, and fun, this podcast conveys the spirit and sound of the music - while also looking back at the classic tunes in alternative music history. It's impossible to imagine punks not downloading this every week, religiously. The same would be true for music fans who want to hear the latest and best.
