Terrific interview with Steve Coogan on how to play comedy in the U.S. and U.K.
There are a few video snippets of Hamlet 2, but mostly this is an audio interview to stills. That turns out to be perfect. Coogan is highly articulate and can explain his art without needing to gag to the camera. With a hapless interviewer acting as inadvertent straight man, Coogan is free to talk without interruption and demonstrate his subtle form of wit, as well as his intelligence and courtesy.
