Won me over
Was never a big fan of Captain America, but I really like Jon's other podcasts so I gave this one a try and I'm glad I did. Learning a lot about a classic character that I never paid much attention to. Gonna go out and get some trades are start catching up!!

thanks for the podcast.. Am thrilled to be seeing ol' cap get his just due. Am concerned about the reception the movie is going to get. think they made a mistake by having the whole story set in WW2. Am afraid today's audience will not be able to relate. Love the ways you guys are reviewing all of the early appearances starting with Strange Tales #114. It was truly worth my 12cents at the time and has now hooked me for close to 50 years. Thank you for giving the Silver Age of comics its due accolades. by the way, the broccoli headed alien you mention ended up being the race of beings that the original Phoenix killed many years later, which caused her (1st) demise

Comprehensive reviews of the shield slinger's appearances from the very beginning. If you're a Cap fan, this is a must podcast. Some constructive criticism - a leaner, meaner podcast might be an easier access point for casual listeners. At nearly three hours, it's as weighty as the shield itself, but hard core fans are not going to find more info than this. Keep on keepin' on as we near the movie premiere date!
