For many people, this film remains the best evidence that Bigfoot is real. However, Long’s research uncovered a side of Patterson most people had never heard of before — and it isn’t pretty. In this week's MonsterTalk, we interview Glen Kuban to discuss the 1977 case of the Zuiyo-Maru, dinosaurs, paleontology, cryptozoology and why so many creationists want to find living dinosaurs. Kuban has done extensive research on two cases important to monster enthusiasts. Customer Reviews
Really enjoyed this.
Not a subject I would have expected to enjoy nearly as much as I did. It's a skeptical treatment of cryptozoology with Ben Radford, and really, how much is there left to say on that topic? Well, I learned just how much there is. Highly recommended.
Actual Debunking Would Be Refreshing
I don't believe in any of this stuff, but to sit here and listen to you guys snort and snicker, making general comments about how silly the ideas are and implying how stupid the believers are is boring and counter-productive...you already know that it's difficult enough proving a negative (that these things don't exist) so pick some specific piece of evidence and debunk it!
Right now, you project the same arrogant attitude that the believers have; you both just preach to your respective choirs by ridiculing the other side.
I can't wait for aliens to land and tell us there's no such thing as Bigfoot.
III
Great show!
I am skeptical of all the "monster" stories out there, but I still find myself intrigued by them. I love your take on things, with the episode with the DNA expert from MonsterQuest being my favorite. Get him on again soon! He brings much more to the show than just DNA expertise. More full length shows also please!
