The Price of Impurity is Hell
The title of this review is one of my favorite quotes from Pastor James. I've been a fan of his for a long time now, and my wife and I used to attend Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin, Illinois before moving to Ohio. Fortunately I can follow his teaching on Walk In The Word podcasts (go subscribe). There's a lot to like about this sermon, but my favorite aspect is the way he flat out tells his congregation that if they have any unrepented sin in their lives, they aren't true followers of Christ and won't be going to heaven; they will be among those who are cursing God as he pours out His wrath on them. God is perfect, and demands the same from us. He says near the end of the sermon that we need to be ready for Christ's return. I'm not perfect, and James admits that he's not perfect, but let us pray that Christ comes back during a time when all of us are in a season of pefect obedience and repentance. As James points out and the bible clearly states again and again, the wicked will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven, regardless of our acceptance of Christ's sacrifice. Thank you for proclaiming truth.
A pastor who focuses on the Word.
This podcast is fantastic. The pastor focuses on the Bible and does not do it apologetically. He stands for truth and is gracious as well. It will challenge and inform. God speed.

Father God I praise you for your Word. What an eye opening truth about humanity and a humbling and convicting moment for any follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faithful servant Pastor James (and Harvest Bible Chapel-Chicagoland) and his unapologetic proclamation of the truth. Time and again through the power of your Holy Spirit he brings to bear the truth of your Word with urgency and love. Thank you for your love and faithfulness to your people! Glory to your name and praise to the work your doing in our hearts! Amen.
