Looks like another winner...

I have only listened to the audio of the first sample episode, but it looks like this will be another winner from Radio Lingua. However, it seems that you will need to get the paid subscription to get the most from this. This is actually the type of podcast I was hoping to find and it's evevn better that it's coming from the same folks that did Coffee Break Spanish and Showtime Spanish. I really anticipate that the pdfs that will come with the subscription will accelerate my Spanish learning. Don't let us down Mark!!!!

Great for Intermediate and Advanced Students

I listen to News in Slow Spanish every week and find it an excellent support for learning Spanish. It is entertaining, topical and reviews grammar in a helpful way. In addition, the idiomatic expressions are fun and the stories about Latin America are great. Listening has really helped my ear for the language. I have been told that you learn best when you understand about 80% of what you hear. It is difficult for an advanced student to find resources where they have this opportunity. Usually it is either a native resource and is very fast and full of idiomatic expressions or it is a beginner resource and tedious to listen to. News in Slow Spanish is perfect for taking along on in the car or on a walk or run. I use the website less often, but it is a good resource as a study guide. Very inexpensive and definitely worth it.

Luv these folks at radio lingua
