Finally!
Always fair, patient to a fault (very rarely ever shutting down a caller) intellectually honest and frequently amusing, Mr Burns is always a thought provoking erudite who unfortunatly comes on after my commute home. There have been many times when I didn't mind working late as I knew that I could at least listen his calm voice speak on a wide range of topics for an hour and a half. If you're tired of the "Jerry Springer-Like" format of other shows, you'll love this show. At a minimum, Mr Burns will increase your vocabulary by at least 20 words per week if not better. I just hope the commercials are edited out as that is the one critical issue I have with the show, I suppose that's just the price of his talent and success.
Gene Burns is simply the best talk radio host in the country
I listened to him for years in Boston, I still hope he will come back one day Talk Radio in Boston has not been the same.. Gene is in a class all his own!!
