Best News Podcast
Issues and ideas are discussed without the screaming-head style that has become so popular. On Point gives the necessary depth to understand an issue while also being enjoyable to listen to. I have not found an issue orientated podcast that is more enjoyable and informative. Tom Ashbrook is an extremely good moderator; it doesn’t feel like there is an agenda, Left or Right. Ideas being debated based on merit not political hype.
A-freakin-Mazing
This is one of the best podcasts out there. It is so refreshing to hear a more balanced, educated, and respectful approach to news and opinions, rather that the bullies over at FOX News. I would say that the host, Tom Ashbrook, tends to lean to the Democratic or Liberal side. However, he plays a great mediator hitting both sides of the issues. Guests holding contrasting views on topics are given ample time to make their case and give support. Great show for everyone to check out!!!

What an incredible news program this one is. I've listened to it for over four years, I used to record it digitally before the time of podcasts. The host is a genius conversationsist, listen for yourself.
