Introduction - The Sweethearts of the Triad | Hello! Welcome to LW Media Group's on the Air with That Literary Lady. I'm your host, Yolanda M. Johnson-Bryant, better known as That Literary Lady! Thank you all for listening in. It is my hope that each of our shows leaves you with something of value and a call to action to improve your life as it pertains to literacy, social media, marketing, entrepreneurship and community involvement. It is our goal to make our shows, at the least, informative but entertaining and useful. Coming in February, we will be bringing you the Sweethearts of the Triad. We will be featuring phenomenal women from around the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. These legacy-building women are pillars in business and their communities. They are doctors, empowerment powerhouses, public speakers, authors, ministers, entrepreneurs, homemakers, volunteers, educators, coaches and designers, These Triad Sweethearts are the cornerstone of womanpower in the Piedmont Triad. What a wonderful tribute to feature these women in the month of February, the month of love—the month of the sweetheart. Each day we will interview one of these women and we hope that you enjoy them as much as we do. Do you remember being in elementary school and being so excited every Valentine’s Day when your mother would go to the store and buy you the biggest and the best box of Valentine’s Day cards to give to your classmates? I challenge each of you to go out this Valentine’s Day, buy a box of Valentine cards, and send them to a special, local businesswoman. You don't have to know the person. Perhaps she's a woman that works at your local grocery store, the nail salon, the mall, your financial advisor, your doctor or local professor. Wherever, whoever, she is, make her day by sending her a small token, just because she is a sweetheart. This is That Literary Lady, until next time, have a 4P Kind of Day! | 1/25/12 | Free | View In iTunes |
