Customer Reviews
Inaccurately named (but great content)
Delivering this great show in seperate sections is a bad idea. I have to handle my iPod 3 or 4 times to listen to the daily podcast version of this show. They should at least change the name. Nothing that is 5-12 minutes long should ever be called an "Hour". The content is very good though. Give us the whole thing! In ONE piece! Please.
Absolutely the best
This podcast has the best signal-to-noise ratio in terms of actual information you receive of any podcast I've encountered. It's thick with honest, useful information on daily events. You will feel smarter after having listened to it. I use it as a kind of radio Tivo, allowing me to listen to the News Hour on my iPod in the car, since I can never catch it on the radio or TV otherwise.
Great interviews and in-depth reporting
This is a great format for NewsHour. Each evening's program is divided into audio segments that are about 10-12 minutes in length. Just right for my morning bus commute! In-depth interviews and panel discussions don't lose anything with the transition from TV to podcast, and I still get some of the best in-depth reporting and analysis available.
