On the edge of my seat waiting for more archives
Truly my favorite podcast. I just love your show so much because it never fails to resound with me as a writer. It gives me the lift I need to keep working on my novel, and it's so engrossing. There must be hundreds or even thousands of authors who are your devoted listeners and who feel the same way I do--I expect your name is on the dedication page of many a fine book. Thank you for doing what you do, Barbara DeMarco-Barrett!
A Writers Sanctuary
This show fulfills a need! Often we writers feel so isolated or invisible! Barbara's show pulls us in, pulls us together and puts our collective mind on the map. Download this program. It is informative, friendly and addictive. Love it! Bravo Barbara!!
Excellent for writers (aspiring or accomplished) and readers
Barbara DeMarco-Barrett presents a professional, weekly, hour-long program of interviews with two guests from the publishing world per week. Although her emphasis is on the process of writing (and ths business of getting published), this podcast would also be of interest to avid readers due to the insights into plotting, characters, etc. From the famous to the not-so-famous, the authors consistently offer comments of substance. +++ My only criticisms: I would like to hear the original broadcast date of each episode as some are quite old and references to "recent publications" can be confusing. Also, would it be possible to edit out the KUCI advertising from the podcast?
