Sooooo good.
There's only one chapter and a bunch of vignettes out, but I'm hooked hooked hooked! Phil Rossi tells a great story and I could listen to him read all day long. If you enjoy sci-fi or character-centric stories this is the podcast novel for you! R U Listening?
Outstanding!
This is amazing stuff! Through the conduit of his brilliant word Phil is able to transport me from my safe, mundane surroundings to a mysterious, dangerously exotic corner of deep dark space. I love ist stuff and I can't wait for 'Crescent: The Series' to premiere on SciFi...
Better than Stephen King???
Ever since hearing his first short stories, I've been hooked to this podcast. Never before has there been a novel that combines horror and scifi quite like this. Its incredably dark with murder, disappearances, crime- even the law doesnt follow the rules. It porvides a great balance of not too much violence, but enough add well as the appropriate uses of humor and other elements. It never fails to give you just a hint more of the dark, horrific events to come. I would even say he is BETTER (yes, I dare blaspheme) than Stephen King. To top it all off, his voice while narrating is just creepy. Like picking up the phone only to hear heavy breathing or an "I'm standing outside your window" voice. The man could read the Cat in the Hat and make it sound ominous and disturbed. Read or else you'll find a spike of pure darkness springing from the floor into your chest....
