Podcast Description
Post-Nup is a satirical examination of the marriage between Gaby Friedman and Omar Basrai, a young couple that loves each other deeply, and yet struggles through the daily disagreements that pepper every marriage. Each three to five minute episode delves into a specific theme, ranging from the fleeting nature of gratitude to the anthropology of a strip club. Like many other Indians, Omar's parents dreamed that their only son would become a doctor. Instead, he effectively majored in "undeclared stoner." This turned out to be great preparation for his career as a "web entrepreneur." Gaby is one part neurotic Jew, one part bitchy popular girl from high school, and one part loving wife. Needless to say, she is a fantastic lawyer. She is deeply loyal to her immature husband and is confident that she can fix most of his flaws by 2023.
