Russell Cherrington tells us why this cut is so important. Philip Davies spotted this site and wanted to know more. So he went to Midian. Not a smart move. We haven't heard from him since. His shrink said he's fine and not to look for him. So I say we just leave well enough alone. I know nothing will go wrong when I do this interview. Razzies Controversy! | The Razzies , the Oscars for bad films, is under some heat. Gawker recently accused the group for only picking big named movies to get publicity. Others accused them of picking winners based on if the star of the film will come on or not (that was me privately to my friends). But founder and Head Raspberry John Wilson shoots down those vicious rumors. He does admit that he was approached by a publicist to rig the votes so the client would win. Hear the shocking response. John admits to swaying the voters by letting them know that the celeb will show if he/she wins. But he would never just fixed the votes. No hanging Chads here. The Razzies have been getting some back lash, but let's put in perspective, it's a competition for the worst movie. Do you think Adam Sandler should show up to the Razzies? If YES then press "Like" below. Or tweet your opinion. Listen to older shows. Dan Kois talks his obsession with the Razzies. “Purple Rain” | "Purple Rain." Prince came out of the movie gate red hot with this movie classic. Michelle Buteau & Ryan Sickler join me to see if the movie still holds up. We are reminded of some serious 80's fashion Faux pas, lots of sexism and the waitress that can't stop crying. We learn that Ryan doesn't know he's white, Michelle chose a safety school because it was safe and I drank vinegar to keep a crappy job. Go to the Proudly Resents FB page and tell us your Prince experience. Also tell us what character in the movie you relate to. Mine is the doctor. And tell us what you think "Computer Blue" means. Also, Ryan doesn't consider himself white? First off, his name is Ryan!!!! There's also a trivia contest at the end of the show. Email me at Reachadam@mac.com for a chance to win a Blue Ray of "Purple Rain." Just tell me what is Jerome's password for Morris. If you have any questions to ask, email me. I'll ask. I'm not afraid. Just watch me. What else can I say? the movie is awesome (on Netflix) and Frank and Michelle are hi-larious. I ddin't cut anything from the episode. It's hard, but kept I didn't go too crazy. “Logan’s Run” | Chris Gore (From every podcast on itunes) picked "Logan's Run" as his second favorite guilty pleasure movie. It's great. Good plot, very cheesy effects (well models and toy trains) and tissue box robots. Apparently in the future, there are no bras. Gore is his hilarious self as he talks about the history of the film and his favorite parts. This is the last part of a two hour interview we did a while back. This is the turkey sandwich after Thanks Giving. The best part in between some fresh bread. Listen before that red dot tells you to die! No more Gore..Actually we might tape a new show next Tuesday. Send us a recommendation. Next week is a slightly longer show with TV's Frank from MST3000. We'll talk about "Valley of the Dolls." Go to our facebook page to leave a comment. Zombie Space Jesus | It's actually called "I Am Here....Now" fantastic from the moment you notice the error in the title. In the title! This is a crazy movie. Jesus/not Jesus comes from outer space in a paper weight to stop corruption and literally lay with a prostitute. Also this movie has an environmental message. This is one of the crazier movies we've reviewed on this show. Judith Benezra (TV's Chuck) and Adam Felber (Radio's NPR) guest review and HATE this movie. But as Nicko would argue, this is an amateur movie, therefore we should not trash it. Who's trashing it? I love it! Just watch the trailer and tell me it's not true love. Here's how to buy the movie. BTW I asked the director for an interview. He said yes and was nice enough to let me buy a copy. Which I treasure. He started his third film so I didn't get a chance to talk to him before posting this episode. I held it for a long time. I hope this doesn't discourage the interview. This is truly terrific bad film. Comment here. Turns out one of the women in the movie is a real honest to goodness actress. We apologize and present you with Elizabeth Sekora's acting reel. Please hire her. | 2/1/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Rise of the Planet of the Podcrash | Chris Gore returns to give the history of The Planet of the Apes movies and his shocking opinion of the "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." Plus, he reveals the secret of being a TV expert. And the Zach Galifianakis sketch that almost happened. Chris Gore is on G4's "Attack of the Show" doing DVD reviews. He's also the star of his own podcast where he replays interviews he did on other shows. Including this one. Come to think of it, don't listen to this show, wait for it to be on "Podcrash with That Chis Gore." Actually, listen to this show. it's short. Under 30 minutes. That's because I interviewed Chris for almost two hours and cut it up into three shows. The next one is the last one. We discuss "Logan's Run" on the next installment of the Gore Tapes. He came into talk about Logan's Run, but he gotta talking and I gotta taping. Very soon, Nicko and I are going to talk about "Celebrity Apprentice." I love that show. It will either be on the same episode as a movie review or the day before. I can't go and start a third podcast. Plus I want to tweet the format of "Proudly Resents." Nicko U Betta “Work It” | ABC's sitcom "Work It" has been called the worst show on TV in years. They made it and put it on air. So Nicko and I were planning on reviewing the show, and then they cancelled it. UGH! Now you have taste, ABC? Caleb Bacon, Paul Goebel, Paul Sullivan and my brother Mike Spiegelman call to leave their opinions about the doomed show and plug their projects. Sullivan makes a great point that the show starts with a reference to "The Accused." A rape joke that refers to a movie from 20 years ago. Here we are comparing who has the worst TV, GB or USA. This podcast opens with Nicko and I trying to sync up our recordings. We're supposed to count at the same time. Nicko can't figure that out. Today is a short show because of technical problems. We will have more conversations with Nicko next time. You can watch the pilot for work it on Proudlyresents.com and comment on our Facebook page. | 1/18/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Megan Follows in “Shattered” | Comedian Wayne Federman talks about the 80's anti- drug film, "Shattered...if your kid's on drugs." The movie stars future and past stars like Megan Follows, a young Dermot Mulroney, a middle aged Burt Renoylds and Judd Nelson. You are court ordered to listen. Wayne also talks about performing stoned, unfair "mom and pop" stores, real peer pressure and much more. Wayne talked to the producer of this famed film and we get some behind the scenes dirt. Also, we find out that Megan Follows is famous. In the show I tell my war stories of working on MTV's Spring Break. I promised pictures. I just moved so my scanner is not hooked up. I promise to have them up by next week or so. Heavy on the "or so." Starting this Thursday, Wayne is having his own film festival with great comics like Gary Shandling, Margaret Cho and comedian Doug Benson. If you go, find Wayne and tell him you heard him on the show. Then ask him for a dollar. Worth a try. Watch the movie and make comments on our Facebook page. Dan Kois Talks Razzies. Nicko Visits. | Grantland.com writer obsessed with the Razzies & Nicko returns to insult - on this special show. Since he was a small child, Dan Kois wanted to go to the Razzies. He wanted to see great men and women get awards for terrible movies and films. All year he's been covering the bad movie beat in Grantland. Dan gets on the horn to talk to us. Dan talks front-runners, the overlooked and what should be the over looked. Here's our interview with the Head Razzie from last year. Then Nicko stops by to insult and run. I've been getting a lot of requests to have her back on the show. We tried to do a live episode, but I couldn't figure out how to make the thingie work. So it's a hilarious self-indulgent 23 minutes of Nicko insulting me. It's part one of our chat. Part 2-4 (all short) will arrive shortly. People asked for it, so I'm trying to leave in the whole conversation. She's a hilarious. Steven Seagal Chews Up Scenery and Pizza | Steven Seagal is "The Glimmer Man." Keenen Ivory Wayans is the poor guy stuck as his partner. Emmy winner Chris Regan ("Shatner Rules") and Local Emmy loser Paul Sullivan (Sullybaseball.com) were forced to watch this movie. They are back with a full report. I walked out of this movie when it came out. And I saw it on a plane. Hello. But listener and former guest Bucky Sinister suggested the film. I'm a man of my word... but s**t man... what did I ever do to you? Seriously. Jeez. "The Gravy Man" was one of Seagal's last chances at getting back in the movie game. His last chance to play a cop, before actually being one. But buddy cop films are not as easy as they seem. Stalone makes throwing out cool lines look effortless and Eddie Murphy can make any temper tantrum look funny. But it doesn't mean any Tom, Dick and Henry Jaglom can just jump in squad car. There's the good, the bad the ugly. "The Glimmer Man" is the bad. Here are the past reviews of the good and the ugly. You figure out which is which. CobraSamurai Cop (I know I promise Chris Gore and Logan's Run. But Chris told me he couldn't promote it until January, so I'm going to hold it for a couple of weeks. I have some great shows in the can, including guests like Wayne Federman, Sharon Houston, Nicko, and the guys from "Story Worthy." I'm going to record "Hard Ticket to Hawaii" with Nicko this week and try to turn it around for next week.) Please write in your suggestions. | 12/14/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

(Again) | Chris Gore (G4, “Film Threat”) discusses the best summer movie, the knock off "Fantastic Four" movie that you'll never see, his favorite strip clubs, dating secrets, beer in movies, The Avengers movie, starting a major magazine from Kinkos, and the best drive in movie theater in California. Chris Gore agreed to come on and talk about his favorite film “Logan’s Run.” But from the moment he stepped into the studio he started talking and I started taping. Very funny and very informative 40 minutes of ridiculousness. Plus: “Luggage Tuesday” takes on prank calls in the 21st century. Also, check out the webseries, “Chapel.” Check out he Trailer for low-budget "Fantastic 4." More like, "The Pretty Good Three" am I right? | 9/13/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

KISS and the Jimmy of the Pardo | Jimmy Pardo (Conan) meets "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park." Yes, the band Kiss with make up and super powers. Yes, super powers. Watch them fight the evil Kiss created by a mad scientist who happens to work out of the local Six Flags 1978 TV execs. wanted to get that allusive Kiss Army audience. What do they want? The band Kiss, music, magic spells and roller coasters in the background. It's more "Scooby Do" than "Hard Day's Night. " Can't fail! We also talk about Jimmy's popular podcast "Never Not Funny," his love for Liza and we blow the lid off of Adam Spiegelman's (Host "Proudly Resents") great cleaning lady scandal. Also: Nicko makes an uncomfortable appearance, we introduce new news site @extremelylocal, explore the seedy world of salad bars with Luggage Tuesdays and a plug for a great live show. Jaws 4, Nicko 0 | Nicko & Adam review "Jaws the Revenge." It's a story of a shark who is out to kill the family that killed his pa. It's like "Kill Bill" with sunscreen. Oh and it's a shark, not a person. Michael Caine phones it in, Mario Van Peebles forgets what movie he's in and terrible kid acting. Hear about Nicko's voyage to NYC! Her love affair with a random cab driver. Why did she fall asleep with French toast on her face? Another visit from Luggage Tuesdays! “Quigly” All Buseys Go To Heaven | Gary Busey plays a mean computer game business type guy who is turned into a dog to learn about life, flimsy sets, terrible special effect, non-comedic timing and how to sleep through a role. The movie also features Booger, Patrick from "SpongeBob," Christopher Atkins, the black guy from "Dream On" (he's also the guy from "The Parkers"). Anthony Perkins' son plays it straight as a fallen angel. The movie has everything: bad sets, bad lines and even a crew member walking in front of a camera. To be fair, it could just be a pushy extra who likes to wear vests and carry lights. All these elements make a very fun film. The podcast features NPR's Adam Felber ("Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me"), Writer/director Paul Sullivan, Eric Neinhaus and host Adam Spiegelman. Sullivan talks about directing his low budget comedy "I'll Believe You," and how he almost got comedian Chris Elliott eaten by an alligator. We talk about Eric's show "Retro Radio Live." He's no longer making new episodes, but he has a great archive at his website. Eric has always been very nice to let me record in his apartment/studio/dining room. Thanks. (He's not dead, I'm just saying thanks.) (You're not, right?) (Call me. Now I'm worried.) Next show Nicko and Adam talk about "Jaws 4:The Revenge." Here are some choice clips of "Quigly." It's from the "Found Footage Festival." I don't know what's "found" about it. Did they "find" it in a bargain bin? Anyway, thanks for editing this for me to "borrow." I have just started the "Borrowed Clip Fest." | 8/3/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

“Shark Attack 3: Megalodon!” | Worst movie line ever. "Shark Attack 3:Megalodon" is regarded as one of the best/worst movies. It's star, John Barrowman is not only a working actor, but well known in England. The guy who said the worst line in film, ever, is now famous? He was even on the "Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special?" This can't be true. For the whole story we went to our British Bad Film Friend, Nicko. Nicko was so moved by this film when she saw it, she and partner Joe co-founded the Bad Film Club. There's a line in the movie that is widely known as the worst line ever. We discuss where how that scene came to be. Warning! NSFW! Watch the clip here. This is a must see movie. | 6/1/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

“Nail Gun Massacre” | Look out! Nails! These nails will get you just by going in your hands. It's "Nail Gun Massacre" a very fun slasher film where the killer dishes out bad one liners and nail influenced death. Todd Levin ("Conan") and Adam Spiegelman (Proudly Resents) talk about this great bad movie and what the Sklar Brothers would be like as mass murders. Clips were taken out of the show b/c the NGM people pulled down other sites that played clips. But I was able to get the ending of the movie off youtube. “The Apple” and Everything Else | Eric Drysdale (writer, "The Colbert Report"), Jimmy Dore (host, "Comedy and Everything Eles") and Adam Spiegelman proudly resent "The Apple." It's a movie musical about the devil, disco and elements stolen from better films like "Tommy," "Rocky Horror" and "Xanadu." This 1980 movie takes place in the way future date or 1994. The whole world is run by disco music, angular clothing, rectangle glasses and entertainment. I guess they didn't know that Napster was only 5 years away. Also, Nigel Lythgoe, the judge from "So You Think You Can Dance" and EP of "American Idol," choreographed this film. They should have asked the actors in the film if they thought they could dance before casting them. This movie is great fun. If you've seen it, let us know what you think. Just love it
While at work, I was listening to the episode with the real director of "The Room",and I was hysterically crying from laughing. I'm sure my co-workers had to wonder what was happening, but they would completley understand if they listen to this show. Adam and his friends seem to have such a great time no matter what location he is recording from or what awful movie they have to discuss. For those who haven't listened, please check out "Good Luck Chuck" and "R.O.T.O.R", and you will be hooked. This is a great show, and hope you guys keep it up.
