So, you don't live in Canada? ...Here's your hockey fix.
Their predictions are usually wrong. Their opinions and analyses are completely biased and explicit (not to be confused with vulgar). Eddie has a predilection to root for the loser, and Doug doesn't know anything about how to treat a head injury.... and I listen every week. Their coverage of the NHL from the day-to-day battles on the ice to the random headlines circulating around the hockey world is excellent. Their reports may be biased, but they aren't afraid to speak out about an issue, and they never ask you to agree with them. They deliver a high quality product that is colorful and fun to listen to, and easily one of the best podcasts you'll find. If you are an NHL fan disgusted with the abhorrent coverage the NHL is receiving from the traditional sports outlets, then this is your podcast. Eddie and Doug know their hockey, and know how to deliver it; concise, comprehensive, and without bias towards their respective favorite teams. Some words to describe this podcast are "Wow", and "a job well done". Eddie Garcia and Doug Stolhand really know their hockey, and I'm proud to say that I'm waiting every sunday at the computer for the next exciting episode of the Puck Podcast. The episode legnth is at the exact right time. They are very interactive with the fans with their "fan correspondents" and my personal favorite, their myspace, which I comment on frequently. =) They also prove a great point to that little group of northern fans that say that hockey doesnt belong in the south... These Southern Californian people sure know what theyre talking about.. (Not saying that all northern fans are like that because most of the northern fans are great but I've met a few like this =P) Thanks for the great show!
