Wonderful Work Sandy - Keep Up the Outstanding Effort!!!
This was a podcast that I so thoroughly enjoyed, I went back from the start and over 3 days (3 days of quilting and listening), heard all the podcasts from start to finish and I registered at BigTent to see what else was happening with her quilting peers she sometimes refered to. The effect was like being in an online guild or "inner circle" of quilter's in it for the love of the medium. Sandy's work left me feeling good about learning through podcasts. I enjoyed the sound and rhythm of Sandy's voice and I enjoyed the content and topics she presented as well as knowing she had a blog to refer to between programs. Sandy's mother had been a quilter and Sandy drew her inspiration from her. She seemed to go into topics that she knew, but then would further like to learn, so the effort she put into studying her topics before doing the broadcast and stating what she or her listeners were learning as she went along was very effective. Sandy challenged herself and the listener in a very natural, easy-going, and timely manner. There were other things that made the podcast interesting and diverse. Sandy offers projects, links, insights, interviews with "Big People" in the quilting world, but also day to day interviews with people who are "just like the rest of us," and she pays very good attention to her listeners encouraging them to interact with her and being responsive in kind. Part of her presentation is to discuss out loud ideas or concerns of her listeners, so the result is a very interactive broadcast. I can hardly wait for the next podcast!!! Thanks Sandy for the incentives of learning given freely!
Wonderful podcast!
