Andy, Tom and Mark are three English mountain bikers with a bizarre idea of a leisurely bike ride. They will spend 3 years riding around the world, off-road, sleeping out every night...The journey will involve over 50 countries. The routes are based on ancient trade routes, pilgrims trails and recreational routes used by long distance hikers. Employing bushcraft skills, the team will camp out each night facing every type of weather the wilderness can conceive. Exploring areas inaccessible on foot or by car they will push the boundaries of off-road, long-distance mountain biking.In a world shrunken by jets and satellites, unrecognisable to the great explorers of the past, Ride Earth will reconnect with the world in a very literal way sleeping under the stars, working for every mile, meeting the people, breathing the air, living in the world and journeying the road less travelled.

OUTSTANDING!!!!
I think this is one of the most awsome things I have ever seen. Just the idea in itself is so over the top, but the execution is absolutley miraculous. RIDE EARTH is an epic podcast that I would recomend to anyone not just mountain bike enthusiests.
