It's not for everyone, but for the fans, it's wonderful.
RTTO can be one of the most difficult shows to get into, but if you are fan of alternative, charged, and sometimes (a lot of times) offensive humor, then this is the cast for you. Get past the dirty words, past the jokes and one liners, though, and you will discover a deep world where all is not what it seems, people are constantly evolving, and some episodes may even touch your heart.
This is a new radio show paying homage to the old time radio serials, but telling a brand new story in a decidedly modern way. It is offensive, it is racially charged, it is scary, touching, funny, well written, and well acted. Most of the voice acting is done by one man, but every character is unique and deeply crafted.
Mr. Oblivion, and those that work with him, obviously put a lot of passion into the show and it comes through in the final product.
Even if you don't care for the offensive humor, give this one a listen for a few episodes. You might just be amazed at what you find.
