The Kingdom | In three different instances, we see God’s intrinsic involvement in the lives of King David and the Israelites. The Concession | The Israelites, called to be set apart and ruled by God as their King, instead desire to be commonplace like other nations, with an appointed king. A Different Spirit | When faced with the promised land the Israelites were faced with what appeared to be an insurmountable challenge. Where Caleb was looking up, they were looking inward. The Substitute | There appears to be a contradiction between a loving God, and a God that does not let the guilty go unpunished, but that is not the case. Multiply | God’s desire for His Church is that we be equipped to live out His story alongside and for the sake of people who don’t know Him. Together | Over the past several weeks, we have been looking at our call to re-orient our lives around these marks of identity, mission, family, & sacrifice. As Family | In looking at what Jesus did on the cross, we find that not only are we reconciled to God, we are reconciled to each other. God’s plan has always involved His Church as a family and we are to embrace this call of togetherness. | 9/25/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Living Out the Gospel Together | In Nehemiah 8, the Israelites are at the starting line, much like our Church is. We are in a season where we are asking, “where do we proceed?” In looking at this verse we see how the Israelites turned to the Law, and recommitted themselves to God’s covenant as a foundation to their new beginning. | 9/18/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Transformational Teaching
Warning: Only subscribe to this podcast if you want to be challenged! This especially applies if you've spent your life "doing church." ROCKHARBOR believes that the body of Christ is the church, that God's word is powerful and relevant today, and that when the body of Christ really takes time to listen to God speak through His word, transformation happens. I'm on leadership at GraceHB.org, a Lutheran congregation that is also passionately pursuing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will confess that I am a different person and a different leader at GraceHB.org than I was six months ago when I started listening to the teaching's at ROCKHARBOR.
This podcast Rocks!!!!
It is awesome that we can still hear about God's word, even when we are not there. I'm a college student full time, and there are times I cannot go. this is a GREAT way to still be connected to the most wonderful church in the Nation!!!!
