RUNWAY Episode 34 | Keepin' the peace. I don't know if it's just me, but free time...you know time in the quantities that allow for boredom have been almost non-existent lately. But that's OK. I'm enjoying life. I just have to be a little more deliberate about making time when I can, and choosing to slow down mentally and enjoy the things that a moment provides. This show is less than half of it's originally recored length. The wind was stronger than I realized, and I had to cut most of it out. I was a little disappointed at first, but I'm OK with it now. I'm just glad to be able get this show out to you. Thanks to everyone that has emailed me. I really enjoy hearing from you, and like to know that I'm a small part of your life. RUNWAY Episode 8 | This is my Independence Day show. I'm thankful that I live in a country that gives me the freedom to enjoy the many blessings we have. Every time I take to the road, and am just out there running, I'm reminded of those liberties. Strange as it may sound, but the wind blowing in my hair, and the fresh air in my lungs always seem to bring up a deep appreciation for the ability and right I have to the pursuit of happiness. So I hope that wherever you are, and whatever it is that you do, you take a moment to reflect on what a great country it is that we live in. American village is a palce not too far from my home that has newly built historical buildings and historical interpreters. Every 4th of July, they have events all day with a fireworks show at dark. This year, we went out there and had a great time. The Olde Towne Brass played a special show and provided some of the background music. The song Fireworks was by the band Brave Saint Saturn.
