Unreleased Sweetness Part 6 | We're back! Unreleased Sweetness Vol. 1 has been released and now we are ready to continue on with our series. This episode includes two beats from our good friend J-Todd, and one from your boy S. As with most of this series, these songs just never made it onto other projects. The first track, Super Funky, has made it onto stage with us in the remixed version for quite some time. This one is the original beat and lyric. J wanted to switch the beat up so we did and this version never saw the light of day until now. Track two, Check it Out, is a beat S made to submit for a movie project and Phantom Channel decided to lay some lyrics on it. It is definitely some different s**t so "check it out" (haha). The third and final track, Freaks, is a tribute to the nightlife scene and all those freaky characters you see out there. The content is a little more "freaky" and after we started playing the track at shows we even heard words from unhappy campers about the lyrics. Listen for yourself and let us know what you think. | 6/27/08 | Free | View In iTunes |

Unreleased Sweeness Part 5 | This episode of Unreleased Sweetness is all about features. Over our career we have been able to work with many talented folks and these tracks feature some of them. The first track Everything I Got features Joe Good of Sounds Good and was recorded one morning before he headed out of Milwaukee after a performance the previous night. Too Complex was produced by our good friend DJ Hype out of Berlin. We had many great times kicking it with good ol' Marc Hype and were happy to nab a beat from him. The third and final track, That's Life, was producd by J Todd. He is on many of our projects but we really like this track so we wanted to get it out there. Enjoy! | 1/7/08 | Free | View In iTunes |

Unreleased Sweetness Part 4 | Well here we finally have it. The fourth in our series. This time we are doing some long time favorites of ours. Nowadays was a beat S put together before a Halloween performance in Madison, WI several years back. We were at the Great Dane and wanted to do a Holloweeny (at least sounding-ish) jam of sorts so here it is. S also got loaded up and passed out and cut his head on the something ("I can't remember. I was passed out." - S) in the bathroom after the performance. Ain't nothing like a party y'all. Our next track is One Man. We featured a remix of it by J Slim on Rusty Ps vs Milwaukee. This one is the OG and is one of my favorites and always jams at the shows. Our last cut is Louder Than Words from 2005 and produced by Madison's own, Reconstrukta. He is a great producer to work with and is even more funky today then ever. If you get a chance ask him about the lab monkeys. Anyway, we may cut a disc from parts one to four of this series so our friends at shows and without the internet can enjoy the tunes as well... Stay tuned. | 7/2/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

Unreleased Sweetness Pt 3 | Part 3 of our series begins with a Phantom Channel solo effort, "True Human Energy". This is the re-recording of the track with the original having samples from one of our fav. manga, Yu Yu Hakusho. They were lost over time... ah ,memories. Anyway, the second track is a long time favorite and has appeared in many performances, "Mash It Up". The name speaks for itself. The final track, "For The Money", is more recent and has small samples from our friend Andrew Neesley, a trumpeter. Thanks Andy! | 3/8/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

Unreleased Sweetness Pt 2 | Here we go with part two of our Unreleased series. In this episode we are featuring a couple of Count Classic solo efforts and a long time favorite of ours "I Got Rhymes". The "Mic Check" tracks came from the Count over a period of time, with "After the Mic Check" being a remix of the original track and Classic's revision based on the remix. "I Got Rhymes" was based on Madhatter's addition to Watson's beat prior to the MCs getting at it. Sometimes we find our best inspiration comes from a cut chorus that Madhatter comes up with rather than writing the chours and working from there. Enjoy. There is more Sweetness on the way. | 3/4/07 | Free | View In iTunes |

Unreleased Sweetness Pt. 1 | Well, we finally got a start on this project... A collection o' work that we have been performing for years and never got a chance to record, Unreleased Sweetness, will be released in four parts. This, the first, is a short collection of songs that we cannot re-record (or perform anymore, I think) because the data has long since left us. We sat on this so long I think the disks died of old age. The track, "Time", can be heard in its remixed version on "vs Milwaukee". This is the original. "Anything" was an idea that S Watson had after watching one of those wash detergent commercials that claim "anything you can do...". Our intro commercial comes from the minds of Watson and DJ Madhatter, and was used on their old funk mixtape release "Choice Cuts". Stay tuned, there is more "Sweetness" to come. | 11/13/06 | Free | View In iTunes |

Release Date:2004 Record Label: Grand Central Records Producers: Rob Smith, S Watson Emcees: Count Classic and Phantom Channel Interesting Facts: Unfortunately Grand Central Records, a UK based hip hop and electronic label, is no longer in business. We appreciate the work we were able to do with them and wish everyone there the best of luck. This record is our second through Grand Central. Professional 12″ | Another self released 12". Features the singles: "Professional", "Quickness" and "Is it Live?". Release Date:2003 Record Label: Rusty P Records DJ: Madhatter Producers: S Watson Emcees: Count Classic and Phantom Channel Interesting facts: This is the first appearance by DJ Madhatter on a Rusty P release, making it "official", according to Madhatter (right Jordan?, haha). Professional is one thing we always have tried to be. So far, so good. And I almost forgot, but the picture on the back of the album is Milwaukee's Water St. area. Fellow Milwaukeeans will appreciate the age of the photo showing the old, now gone, east-side freeway and other eliminated landmarks. Available at: | 10/17/06 | Free | View In iTunes |
